Celebrate the spirit of Goa’s monsoon at the vibrant São João Festival in Siolim on 24th June!

One of Goa’s most cherished cultural celebrations, São João honours St. John the Baptist with a unique blend of faith, tradition, music, and community spirit. Watch as locals joyfully dive into wells, ponds, and streams, keeping alive a centuries-old tradition that welcomes the rains with enthusiasm and devotion.

🚤 Don't miss the spectacular Boat Parade that begins from 3:30 PM, featuring beautifully decorated floating tableaux that showcase the creativity and cultural richness of Goa.

🍍 Experience the heart warming "Oze" tradition, where newly married couples share baskets of seasonal fruits and sweets with family, friends, and the community as a gesture of gratitude and goodwill.

🎶 The festivities continue with exciting live performances, traditional Goan folk dances, and energetic musical acts by Johnny B Gud with Reza and the popular band Black IN White.

Goa meets Okinawa, Japan 🌿

A meaningful exchange on regenerative tourism, sustainability, and business opportunities took place with the Okinawa Prefectural delegation at Taj Cidade de Goa – Heritage Hotel.

Shri Deepak Narvekar (DY GM, GTDC), Shri Anil Khaunte, and the Vibrant Goa team led by Shri Rasik Naik explored opportunities for collaboration between Goa and Okinawa while highlighting Goa’s sustainable tourism initiatives and world-class MICE infrastructure.

The interaction was supported by Taj Cidade De Goa Heritage, which graciously hosted the delegation for lunch and a heritage property tour.
