36 days have passed… and the doors of Masjid Al-Aqsa remain sealed—shut upon the very Ummah it belongs to.

An Ummah of nearly two billion, yet its sacred sanctuary stands locked, echoing with silence instead of Sujood?

IS MY RAMADAN ACCEPTED?

One of the subtle signs that a good deed has been accepted is that Allah grants you consistency in it.

Allah ﷻ says:

وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْوَاهُمْ
“And those who are guided, He increases them in guidance and grants them their righteousness.” (Surah Muhammad 47:17)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

أَحَبُّ الأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّ
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.” Bukhari, Muslim)

The Salaf said:

قال بعض السلف: ثواب الحسنة الحسنة بعدها، وعقوبة السيئة السيئة بعدها
“From the reward of a good deed is the good deed that comes after it, and from the punishment of a sin is the sin that comes after it.”

Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

من علامة قبول الحسنة أن يوفق العبد لحسنة بعدها، فإن الحسنة
From the signs of a good deed being accepted is that a person is granted success to perform another good deed after it.

So if you find yourself continuing in obedience after an act of worship, know that this is a glad tiding from Allah.

And if you find a break after good deeds, then return quickly, for the believer does not rely on one action but fears its rejection and strives to follow it with another.

O Allah accept from us and keep us firm upon obedience

लाखों का दान देकर नाम कमाना आसान है, लेकिन असली इबादत तब है जब कोई पड़ोसी भूखा न सोये। आज हमें दिखावे की बड़ी इमारतों से ज़्यादा अच्छे स्कूलों और अस्पतालों की ज़रूरत है। हम दिखावे में तो सबसे आगे हैं, पर शिक्षा और सेहत के मामले में सबसे पीछे रह गए हैं!
