We designed a premium American resto-cafe for Froot Coffee in Kochi, engineered to be more than just a dining destination.

The space is strategically built to solve a specific commercial challenge: maximizing customer dwell time without sacrificing operational speed.

The space needed to feel premium yet highly accessible, balancing daily routine visits with strong brand recall. Every spatial decision was driven by revenue metrics and human behavior.

Here is how the design drives the business:

• The Operational Anchor: The counter is positioned for immediate brand impact. Warm-lit slatted cabinetry and a frictionless service line keep peak-hour transactions highly efficient.

• Intelligent Zoning: A raised timber platform creates a subtle level change. This expands the visual footprint and offers guests variety without using restrictive walls.

• Maximizing Cover Capacity: Custom perimeter banquette seating increases the revenue potential per floor area without sacrificing guest comfort.

• Atmosphere as a Retention Tool: Arched slatted panels, natural wood, cane, and sage green upholstery create a low-stress sensory environment.

In the cafe industry, slowing people down is a direct strategy to increase average transaction value. Froot Coffee is built to operate flawlessly and drive repeat footfall.

For generations, Eastern Condiments has built a strong legacy in kitchens and households through its commitment to quality, authenticity and consumer trust. The Eastern Condiments– .E. Meeran Innovation Center was designed as an extension of that legacy, creating an environment where employees can think freely, experiment and develop new concepts.

The design brief focused on creating a contemporary corporate environment that supports innovation while staying rooted in the values that have guided Eastern Condiments over the years.

We brought their story into the walls of the space, translating Eastern Condiments heritage, values and forward-looking mindset into a workplace that feels grounded in its identity while supporting new ways of working.

We approached spatial planning with a clear intent to balance focused work areas with open collaborative zones, ensuring an easy flow between individual concentration and team interaction.

The result is a workplace that balances heritage and innovation in a practical setting, supporting teamwork and efficiency.

The objective was to create a premium minimalist workspace that helps clients feel safe, motivated, and positive. The colour palette was carefully selected to support these emotions while maintaining the professionalism expected of a corporate office.

Because every discussion here is about an individual's future, the environment was designed to feel reassuring and credible.
