Amalgam is a band formed by a group of friends hailing different states of northeast in the year 2022. They encountered each other in the city of Shillong in the field of music and that is how the group was born.
Amalgam is an experimental band. We love exploring different types of genres in variations to both western music and Bollywood.
They consist of 5 members.
Thus far, Amalgam have been performing
Cover songs in various occasions.
Amalgam have performed in various parts of Meghalaya.
They have performed under Meghalaya Grassroot project.
They have performed during the Northeast Olympic Games and sports held in Shillong under MGMP, have performed for the National Lion’s Club I’m Shillong.
They have performed in the most auspicious concert of Myth by the river festival held in Jowai,Meghalaya.

is a band from Dimapur, Nagaland formed late in 2019. Five friends, Aotoshi on the vocals and rhythm guitar, Sunep on drums, Sashi on bass, Atong and Wangshi on guitars. Winners NIT Rockville Ekarikthin 2020,and KYF National Rock contest 2021.

The distance between a performer and an audience can be measured in vulnerability. For Shantanu Pandit, those metrics both serve to repel and compel, sometimes against his own instinctive self-preservation. To date, his rare live performances have served as a sometimes uncomfortable insight into the mundane, the momentous, and the morose. These vignettes of memories he both cherishes and exorcises allow his audience to relate to him, though perhaps unwillingly. And yet, rapt, they do. Since 2011 he has spent ten years honing his craft, either as a solo musician, a founding member of seminal Delhi four-piece Run it's the Kid or the spaces in between.
