Due to heavy rainfall accompanied with gusty wind last night several damages including Main 33 KV Tinsukia-Digboi Feeder occurred at different location under Digboi Electrical Sub-Division. Power of entire Digboi will be affected,Inconvenience is regretted...

An accident happened near Tingrai station where a car broke 33,000 volts Tinsukia -Digboi main line. Power at entire Digboi will be affected due to this. Restoration will begin in the morning.

Restoration work is going on, some areas where damage was minimum received power yesterday, today we are working engaging all our men power and also taking additional men power and we will try to restore maximum by tonight.

Restoration under way, we are trying to restore lines on war footing.

33 KV Bapapung feeder is faulty, restoration work continued late night till 4 am but the fault cannot be located, due to the severity of the fault we have to climb each pole and check for the fault. We are expecting to locate the fault today before 3 pm. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
