Growing Seed is a non-political, non- biased, benevolent, voluntary social organization based on Dharmanagar, North Tripura. It was started by some school students having good deed, willing to do something good for society. It was started on 30th march 2011.From the very first day of its starting, it is devoted to the society by doing various charitable activities

On 05 June 2026, Growing Seed, in collaboration with NABARD and Karma Agro Producer Company Ltd, organized a plantation programme to commemorate **World Environment Day**. The programme was graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Sabhadhipati of North Tripura Zilla Parishad, Chairman of Kadamtala Panchayat Samiti, DDM-NABARD (Unakoti & North Tripura), officials of Growing Seed, and the Board of Directors and members of Karma Agro Producer Company Limited.

At Growing Seed, every day is Environment Day. We remain committed to promoting sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and environmental stewardship for the well-being of future generations. This plantation drive reflects our continued efforts towards protecting and preserving Mother Earth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders, dignitaries, farmers, and community members for their active participation and support in making this initiative meaningful and successful.

Together, let us nurture nature and build a greener, healthier future for all.

On 27-05-2026, Growing Seed officials conducted a preparatory meeting at the office of Karma Agro Producer Company Ltd with FPO members in presence of the BoDs and local PRI members to create awareness regarding upcoming training and capacity building initiatives for strengthening FPO activities in the region.

The officials also visited the baby corn cultivation plot at Kadamtala and provided on-field training and guidance to the farmers. We hope that these initiatives by Growing Seed will significantly benefit the farming community and contribute towards sustainable agricultural development in the region.

On 26th May 2026, officials of Growing Seed proudly participated in the Cluster Development Branch Opening Programme of SIDBI at Udaipur, Gomati district.

On the same day, Growing Seed officials along with Darser FIG members, supported by Growing Seed and SIDBI, also participated in the Credit Outreach Programme held at Agartala, West Tripura.

We are delighted to share that Growing Seed received a token grant for a new development project in North Tripura, supported by SIDBI, from Shri M. Nagaraju, Secretary, DFS, Government of India, and Shri J. K. Sinha, Chief Secretary, Government of Tripura.

Growing Seed extends heartfelt gratitude to Small Industries Development Bank of India for providing us the opportunity to attend these significant programmes and to the SLBC Tripura for successfully organising the event. Such collaborations inspire us to continue working towards sustainable livelihood development and community empowerment across Tripura.

On 21-05-2026, officials of Growing Seed had an important and interactive meeting with the enthusiastic farmers of the Belbari block area in West Tripura. The meeting served as a valuable platform to discuss the various challenges and constraints faced by the farming community.

During the interaction, Growing Seed officials shared important suggestions and insights on sustainable agricultural development, climate-resilient practices, and the importance of a cluster-based farming approach for improving productivity and strengthening farmers’ livelihoods.

We are encouraged by the active participation and dedication of the farmers towards adopting progressive and sustainable farming practices for the betterment of the rural economy.

On 21-05-2026, Growing Seed officials paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed GM & OIC of NABARD, Tripura RO. They also had a courtesy meeting with the Joint Director of the Department of Social Welfare & Social Education, Government of Tripura.

The meetings were highly fruitful, during which valuable advice and insightful guidance were received for the overall development of the state. Growing Seed officials also shared various initiatives undertaken by the organization towards contributing to society and promoting sustainable development.

An exposure visit was organized on 20-05-2026 under the MEDP project “Empowering Women, Enriching Soil: Advancing Natural Farming through Organic Input Preparation”, supported by National Bank (NABARD Online) for Agriculture and Rural Development and implemented by Growing Seed. The visit was conducted at R Flower Nursery and Horticulture Centre, Bilthai and Breeder Nursery and Biodiversity Conservation Centre, Padmabil in North Tripura district.

During the exposure visit, the beneficiaries gained valuable practical knowledge and exposure related to sustainable livelihood activities, nursery management, biodiversity conservation, and organic farming practices. The interaction with experts and field-level demonstrations inspired the participants and enhanced their understanding of market-oriented livelihood opportunities.

We are happy to observe the active participation and enthusiasm of the beneficiaries, who are continuously engaging themselves in livelihood-oriented activities with great dedication and confidence.

Under the project “Fostering Livelihoods through Livestock Farming: Strengthening SHGs in Jubarajnagar Block, North Tripura”, supported by NABARD, Tripura RO and implemented by Growing Seed, a Certificate Distribution Programme was successfully organised on 19-05-2026 at the Conference Hall, Jubarajnagar RD Block, North Tripura.

The programme was graced by the presence of the Chairman, Jubarajnagar Panchayat Samiti, Panchayat Samiti members, BDO Jubarajnagar, DDM NABARD, LDM North Tripura, Marketing Officer, TGB North Tripura, officials from TRLM, and Growing Seed officials.

We are delighted to witness that most of the enthusiastic beneficiaries have successfully initiated their livelihood activities in duckery, poultry, and goatery after completing the training programme. The dignitaries present highly appreciated the efforts of Growing Seed in promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities among rural SHG members.

Growing Seed extends heartfelt gratitude to NABARD for supporting this initiative. We also sincerely thank the TRLM Jubarajnagar Block team for their cordial help and continuous support throughout the programme, along with all stakeholders whose cooperation made this initiative successful.

A Field Day Celebration under the project “Fellow to Fortune: Precision Baby Corn Farming for Sustainable Livelihoods in Tripura” was successfully organised by Growing Seed on 16-05-2026 at West Ratacherra, Kumarghat, Unakoti, Tripura, in the presence of DDM NABARD, A*O Fatikroy, local public representatives, Growing Seed officials, and the BOD, CEO, and participating farmers of Manusiri Farmers Producer Company Ltd.

The programme was organised to celebrate the successful harvest of baby corn and to encourage the hardworking farmers who, despite facing adverse weather conditions this year, successfully managed to cultivate and harvest the crop from their fields.

Growing Seed, under the support of NABARD Online, is implementing this project across different locations of Unakoti and North Tripura districts, and we are delighted to witness the positive outcomes achieved by the participating farmers.

We sincerely thank National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for supporting this initiative and also express our gratitude to the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GoT for providing seeds and other necessary assistance to the farmers. Heartfelt thanks to all stakeholders whose support and cooperation have made this initiative a success.

Under the project “From Beans to Brews: Coffee CFC for Value Addition and Livelihood Generation in Unakoti,” supported by SIDBI, Growing Seed successfully conducted a Monitoring Visit and Farmers’ Awareness cm Feedback Meeting on 14-05-2026 at Soilapi, Chinibagan, Kailashahar, Unakoti.

The programme was held in the presence of officials from Growing Seed, SLO, Coffee Board India, Kumarghat, and the esteemed members of Darser FIG. The interaction reflected the growing enthusiasm among coffee farmers, who are gradually benefiting from this initiative through improved knowledge, processing facilities, and livelihood opportunities.

During the meeting, future strategies for strengthening the coffee value chain and expanding the coffee ecosystem in Tripura were also finalized. Growing Seed is delighted to witness the positive response from farmers and remains hopeful that the coffee sector in Tripura will continue to grow stronger day by day.

We sincerely thank SIDBI and Coffee Board India for their continued support and guidance towards empowering coffee growers of the state.
