👉🏻 23 Private Insurance companies booked total claim of 18163.81Cr and paid 17409.19Cr (Settlement Ratio 94.14%) and standalone LIC booked 29293.46cr and paid 28408.38cr (Settlement Ratio 96.03%)

👉🏻 Claim Repudiated by private insurance company stood at 4.07% vs LIC 1.17% of benefit amount.

👉🏻 Private Insurance companies Repudiated 1.61% of total number of policy with benefit amount of 4.07% of total claim amount where as LIC Repudiated 0.64% of total number of policy with benefit amount of 1.17% of total claim amount.

This means that large sum assured policy i.e.. term insurance are largely rejected in private insurance companies.

👉🏻 LIC claim Repudiated is lowest among all peer Insurance companies.

b. Top five players with lowest Claims Repudiated Policy wise are HDFC Life Max Life, Kotak life, Bajaj Allianz and Tata AIA

*Cat B. Claim amount of less then INR 500Cr but more then 100Cr*
There are total 11 companies fall in this category

a. Top five players with lowest Claims Repudiated Amount wise are Bharti Axa, Aegon Life, Shriram Life, Aviva Life and Canara HSBC

b. Top five players with lowest Claims Repudiated Policy wise are Aegon Life, Bharti Axa life, Reliance Nippon, Canara HSBC and Aviva Life
