Live Values Foundation is an NGO which works for betterment safety and provides legal assistance to repatriates, exoduses, migrants and others. India.
Live Values Foundation (LVF) is a Public Charitable Trust registered on March 25, 2014 with its registered office at 28- A, Pocket B Mayur Vihar Phase II, Delhi – 110 091. Ravi Ranjan Singh, a social worker and activist working for Human Rights in the international arena for over 30 years has actively protested the injustice perpetrated by governments, acts of genocide by fundamentalist groups and
or, religious – racial fanatics, mafia groups and mafia activities which form a criminal cartel. According to Ravi Ranjan Singh these few entities have through the years been directly responsible for directly funding terrorism in exchange of free movement of contraband, drugs, arms, ammunition, weapons of disaster and mercenaries in search or newer and newer killing fields. To terrorize, exploit and devastate moving populations across international borders, forced to leave their once happy homes, in search of the ‘promised land’ that would provide them a place to stay, a sanctuary/ home, security, livelihood and food. The situation in the Middle East and Africa leaves little to be said and the atrocities perpetrated on deprived, stranded, subjugated, individuals and groups, regardless of age or s*x groups finds the whole wide world ‘speechless’. LVF under the stewardship of Ravi Ranjan continues with this crusade to sensitize people and build awareness in regard to the vast populations that are being rendered to ‘refugee status’ world-wide and the ever increasing violence and openly, declared stripping off of the ‘Rights’ of women and children in the world of today. And the situation is not just due to war like situations, terrorism or extremist movements – the situation relating to people ousted by needless development projects, many small and big dams are built with questionable motives and real invisible beneficiaries, is even worse because they do not qualify to be termed refugees but equally, find themselves displaced and barred from their ancestral homes and transported by hostile forces to an alternate site deprived of any and every social security but, in this case, in the garb of development initiatives. Live Values Foundation is today the response in this quest for the restoring of the civil rights of over 50% of the population inhabiting this globe. Challenges Leading to the Formation of LVF
Exposure – Introspection – Expression
Entry into the world of development activity was a result of a need felt by the founder members to initiate a movement for social justice on a universal platform. The need to stand-up against suppression, oppression and exploitation of women children and the vulnerable segments of society leaving them stripped off of any dignity, self respect, self-esteem or, human ‘Rights’. Believe it or not –
The misogynist paedophilic cults under where a woman’s body is not her own but the property of the entire society for exploitation and dissipation for personal gratification and comfort is a celestial decree, where r**e is not only justified but glorified and even sanctified and religious texts are cited as a motivational source This strategy of imposition of primitivism and oppression with the threat of beheading and terror for widespread destruction has degraded civilized societies. Regrettably, India is no exception!. In 1890 a 11 year old girl Phulmonee, died of a ruptured va**na caused by her adult husband in Bengal – In the twenty first century a Yemeni child bride of eight, dies of internal injuries on the first night of forced marriage to a groom five times her age http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2415871/Yemeni-child-bride-8-dies-internal-injuries-night-forced-marriage-groom-40.html
When the United Nations General Assembly adopted/ passed a resolution against child marriages in November 2014, out of 116 nations, India was conspicuous by its absence and this, was under the stewardship of the Hon’ble Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of independent India. The Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act 2012 was enforced in November 2012 and, from that day to March 2015, 6816 cases have been registered i.e., about 8 cases of child abuse every day. The trend is upbeat – according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) the data recorded 33052 cases in 2011, 38172 cases in 2012 and 58224 cases in 2013. The Right to Education Act has been implemented with considerable success as per the authorities and, according to the authorities ‘60.6 lakh children in the age group 6 – 13 years are out of school’ mostly being from the SC/ST/OBC sections indicating that the RTE has brought little change in the lives of the marginal groups. LVF endeavours to restore to the present and future generation of children – worldwide, freedom from a manipulative social system and entities who, not by chance but, by design cheat and deprive generations of children worldwide of their childhood, their ‘Right’ to Life, Liberty and Freedom, to experience the pleasures of discovery. These children are distressed, pressurised and buried under superimposed beliefs, social conduct and lifestyles, alien to a child’s reasoning. Children and women worldwide are today, the greatest victims of wars and conflict. Though not a party to any such conflagration they bear the brunt of the violence and inhumanity perpetrated. Organised crime today is more powerful than all the combined governments worldwide and in fact, controls most governments vitiating the process of governance. The social justice system has ceased to exist. A second major issue that troubled the founder members was the all-pervading atmosphere of corruption which prevented these vulnerable segments from seeking redress or legal support. Any crusade against corruption involving these issues concerning vulnerable segments would bring together all political parties under one flag to prevent any public or judicial awakening. Penalising a few for corruption in an atmosphere totally vitiated and hostile to probity in private and public life, would achieve nothing and only legislation can help. Any other activism would be frustrating, rendering the entire process toothless and ineffective. Our experiences of the world of the deprived and the underserved, a world where healthcare and health related problems held no priority was another cause for despair and dissatisfaction. Facts as they stand reflect a poor picture of human development in India and elsewhere.
‘Consumerist Craze’ drives the world; unethical advertising fuels this craze promoting incredible lifestyles and animal-like propensities. Mafia organisations dictate acceptability of lifestyles and social practices, the celluloid world was the first to succumb; drugs – the next entity widely accepted by the hip and happening crowd and later superimposed on society in a manner to find universal acceptability. Difference’s if any, were buried sooner or later. Initiated at the school and college level for children to experiment with and take the habit further to every other level; the urgent need for money to maintain the habit pushed the habit to a wider plane across every section of society – Why? Because it was shown to find acceptability in the uppermost echelons of society and government through mass media vehicles and the total silence ‘no response’ of legislators, the law enforcement agencies and media complicity to accommodate political and financial exigencies of the moment. The latest fad and fashion is the laptop, the cellular phone and Internet marketing. It is by the grace of the Almighty that our comprehension levels are now reduced to absolute ignorance – not to know or, be aware of the fact that we do not know. Why do we buy anything and to what purpose? We are misguided at every turn – lies, lies and indiscriminate lies is all that we have to show for business, trade and related blitzkrieg advertising because, the revenues from all these million dollar transactions go to a mafia cause or terrorism. The mafia survives on extortion, loan-sharking (instant finance), prostitution (s*x industry), real estate, gambling, kidnapping and murder. Terrorism cannot survive without funds and from where are such massive funds accessed? Who or what organisations, governments fund the IS and related terrorism? We are either, uninformed or misinformed or insensitive or greed driven to jump for goods and services obtained through unethical, unfair and divisive forces. This suicidal tendency is meme and has to be contained and reversed, through awareness programmes. Access to such funds can come only from the illegal movement of wealth across borders, movement of contraband, movement of drugs and purchase of weapons of mass destruction from the under-ground markets. Are we, all of us, responsible? Rupees 6 lakh crore ($95 billion) was illegally taken out of India in 2012. Total for the decade coming to Rupees 28 lakh crore ($ 440 billion). Out of 151 countries Indian expertise ranked No.3 after China and Russia in the illegal movement of wealth to foreign destinations. For India, this outward movement of wealth exceeded by far the FDI for the period depriving India of the much needed funds for basic amenities, infrastructure and services, serving to undermine authority at all levels.
