Men’s Fashion is still at its evolutionary best in India with most retailers catering to standard vocabulary of cuts and colours. Whether it is unwillingness of men to experiment or or latency of brands to offer newer products; it seems like a catch-22 situation.

In our first episode of CAC Live in 2022, we want to explore what does sustainable fashion mean to men in India, how are design houses addressing the need and demand equation and slowly but steadily how are brands shifting towards this inevitable change.

Our first guest is Anmol Sharma, Founder & Creative Director, Dhātu Design Studio and GenNext 2020 winner at Lakme fashion week.

Anmol has been at the helm of creating an Ethical, sustainable & purpose-driven label.
Having studied at NIFT Delhi, his decade long career has been about exploring menswear fashion and understanding the market dynamics. At Dhatu, he designs classic menswear that has minimalist aesthetics and a utilitarian style.

With a motto of DRESS TO REFORM, he has chosen to forego animal leather, synthetic fabrics, digital printing, tree-based fibers and other industry techniques that have a high carbon footprint.
