KOLKATA IS READY TO MAKE HISTORY 🇮🇳 ✨
500 Boats • One River • Thousands of People
For the first time ever, Kolkata is set to attempt a Guinness World Record as yoga practitioners perform synchronized yoga on 500 boats floating across the sacred Ganga beneath the iconic Howrah Bridge.
A moment of unity, culture, and wellness that the world will witness.
YogaDay
International Day of Yoga celebrations from Kolkata’s iconic Red Road, performing the Common Yoga Protocol alongside nearly 35,000 participants as India and countries around the world observed the 12th edition of the annual event.
Around 35,000 people gathered at Red Road for the event, while nearly one million people were expected to take part in synchronised yoga sessions across Kolkata.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said yoga had evolved into a global force that transcends boundaries and unites people across cultures and nations.
“The entire nation, the entire world seems connected. This is the power of yoga. Yoga connects everyone, brings everyone together,” he said, extending greetings to people across the globe on International Yoga Day.
From physical wellness to inner peace, yoga enriches every aspect of life. Delighted to join this year’s celebrations in Kolkata.

PM Narendra Modi’s unscheduled visit to a local Jhalmuri stall in Jhargram has clearly sent shockwaves through the TMC camp. Within 24 hours of seeing the Prime Minister naturally connect with the people, we see Mamata Banerjee suddenly rushing to the markets, pretending to buy vegetables—a place she hasn’t been seen in for the last 15 years! 🥦🏃♂️
It is truly hilarious to watch the panic set in. Following PM Modi’s lead, where he personally interacted with vendor Vikram Kumar and sparked a viral “Jhalmuri storm,” Didi’s PR team has scrambled to create a “counter-narrative” by filming her at fruit and vegetable stalls.
But here is the reality: You can copy the action, but you cannot copy the conviction.
Staged PR vs. Genuine Leadership
The “Jhalmuri” Connection: When PM Modi stopped at College More, it was about the people—asking a 9th-pass vendor about his education, his family, and his life. It wasn’t a script; it was a conversation.
The Sudden Market Visit: After a decade and a half of neglect, suddenly visiting vendors just days before the next phase of the feels like desperate damage control.
The Fear of Popularity: If your leadership was strong, you wouldn’t need to mimic your opponent’s every move. The obsession with countering PM Modi’s grassroots appeal only shows who really has the pulse of Bengal.
Didi, you can try to replicate the frame, but you can’t replicate the vision, the honesty, and the genuine love that the people of Bengal have for Modi Ji. The voters see right through the “Bazaar outreach” photo ops. 📸❌
Bengal is tired of political theater and “PhD in looting.” The message from the ground is loud and clear: imitation is not leadership, and the time for change is now! 🇮🇳
