Transversotrema patialense (sometimes misspelled as Transversotrema patiallensis) is a parasitic trematode (fluke), which is a type of flatworm parasite. It primarily infects fish, living on or within its host and obtaining nutrients from it. It has a complex life cycle that involves snails and fish.
