Across rural India, women farmers continue to be the backbone of agriculture, contributing immensely despite limited access to land ownership, financial resources, market linkages, and technical support. In many communities, farming is not just a livelihood—it is a responsibility carried silently by women every single day.

In Rajasthan, women like Devan are redefining what resilience and collective strength look like. By coming together through community-led farmer groups supported by CASA, women farmers are learning sustainable and organic farming practices, improving crop diversity, and strengthening household incomes. More importantly, these collectives are creating spaces where women support one another, share knowledge, and build confidence in decision-making.

Collective farming has enabled women to pool resources, exchange expertise, and adopt environmentally sustainable agricultural methods that protect both livelihoods and the land. The transition toward organic practices is not only improving soil health and productivity but also paving the way for long-term food security and economic independence for rural families.

Empowering women farmers means strengthening communities, preserving traditional agricultural wisdom, and building a more sustainable future for generations to come.

CASA, with support from India Exim Bank, is implementing a menstrual hygiene initiative across 40 villages in Parbhani, Maharashtra. Since April 10, 2026, awareness sessions and distribution drives have covered 19 villages, reaching 10000+ rural women and adolescent girls with reusable sanitary pads (RSPs).

The initiative promotes menstrual hygiene awareness, breaks taboos, and encourages eco-friendly practices. Early responses show strong participation, improved awareness, and a positive shift towards adopting reusable sanitary pads despite ongoing challenges like social hesitation and limited resources.

When women support each other, entire communities grow stronger.

From sharing knowledge to creating opportunities, is not just a phrase—it’s a movement that drives change, resilience, and progress.

Let’s continue to uplift, mentor, and stand beside one another—because empowerment multiplies when it’s shared.

Books in tiny hands are the most precious gift we can give to our future generation. 📚✨

With years of experience in bringing education to dropout children, CASA continues its commitment to ensuring that every child gets a second chance to learn, grow, and dream.

We are now expanding our efforts in the NCR region by proposing to open a Bridge School—a safe learning space designed to help out-of-school children reconnect with education and build a brighter future.

To make this vision a reality, we are seeking collaboration with corporates and partners who believe in the power of education and want to create lasting impact.

Together, we can turn missed opportunities into new beginnings.

Tuesday Thoughts

Humanitarian aid is more than assistance—it’s an act of shared humanity. In moments of crisis, it reminds us that compassion knows no borders, no language, no difference.

Every small effort—whether it’s raising awareness, supporting a cause, or simply choosing kindness—contributes to a larger impact.

Let’s take a moment today to reflect:
What can we do, in our own capacity, to make the world a little more humane?
