Meta and Reliance Industries Limited have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership through an agreement to establish an artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Under the arrangement, Reliance will build a data centre with an initial capacity of 168 megawatts (MW), which Meta will lease, with options to scale further.

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved amendments to the Uttar Pradesh Semiconductor Policy 2024 to make it more investor-friendly and draw larger investments into the electronics manufacturing sector. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
