What is DevOps?

In a Simple and common language, DevOps is a group of concepts and philosophies. It is combination of Development and Operations. The main features of DevOps is automation, monitoring, testing, version control, integration and software development and build a infrastructure management. In this technology some software which is interpreted language, very popular in this date like: Ruby, Python, Perl. Because Interpreted language does not need to compiling a program in to a machine language. The interpreter executes instructions directly.

DevOps:

Vagrant is power full tool that manage local virtual machine. Vagrant is command line interface. Internet connection is mandatory, and any virtualization software like Oracle Virtualbox, vmware fusion, vmware workstation or Hyper-V but license required for vmware. Vagrant develop in Ruby both are opensource software. Important URL are:

Yum Plugin:

one of the yum plugin used for rollback in early RHEL version like 5 and 6 name of the plugin is: yum-plugin-security.
but in RHEL 7 you can't find this plugin because this plugin already inbuilt with yum.

RHEL 5: yum-security
RHEL 6: yum-plugin-security
RHEL 7: yum

mount CD/DVD media in RHEL 7
insert media in device and follow these steps.
# blkid

and check media label and device name than mount your device [ mount (command) /dev/sr0 (device name) /media (mount point)

# mount /dev/sr0 /media
