Physical distancing has become the new normal and keeping this in mind, our approach and techniques to ensure legal machinery runs unaffected by the lockdowns should be easy to use in all forums of legal system and more importantly not restricted to Sr Lawyers and handpicked cases. Till now whatsoever has been going on creates a question mark in minds of many; are court only for rich and powerful and ordinary citizens will keep getting dates from court masters?
We need to address this issue & I having a brief experience of litigation have some suggestions-
1. Make video conferencing of all cases in all forums of legal systems in India.
2. Court registry’s be made accountable for any malpractice in listing cases on priority basis.
3. Court Order be made online on daily basis.
4. Lawyers friendly websites be made to track minute by minute development in process of registry in all forums (it exists but need to be more precise and informative)
5. Overcrowding inside courtrooms can be addressed by giving slots from 30-45 min for 1-15 matters or so. That will significantly reduce the number of lawyers waiting for their turn to address courts.

Hoping a healthy discussion if any interested.
