‘AVI – The Rising Sun’ Charitable Trust is a committed endeavour that strives to reach out to children battling with cancer and other major ailments. We empathically move forward to hold hands with parents fighting the demons of cancer for their children and render financial assistance and emotional support to them. Additionally, we actively p
rovide financial assistance for children’s education and development. We raise funds, collect essentials like food, clothes, medicines, etc. for people displaced and in need during and after natural calamities. AVI – Who?
‘AVI – The Rising Sun’ Charitable Trust was initiated in the year 2013, in fond memory of Master Avi Ahuja, who lost his battle with cancer at a blooming age of two. His parents, Ms Shilpi and Mr Karan Ahuja, along with unflinching support from their families, decided to devote themselves to the cause of ‘saving life’ and,
➢ extend financial help to the less privileged children who find it difficult to bear the extensive expenditures of cancer and other related treatments; and
➢ provide empathic care, comfort, support, strength and assistance to parents and families;
➢ collect survival essentials like food, clothes, medicines and ensure rightful distribution to the ones anguished due to natural disasters;
➢ identify and support children who need financial assistance to pursue education.
