According to the American Psychological Association, perfectionism is defined as “the tendency to demand from others or ourselves a very high or perfect level of performance above and beyond what the situation calls for.”¹

In other words, consider personality Characteristics, No mental disorders. Though in certain people OCD is also a cause of “perfect tasks”.

The energy behind perfectionism comes primarily from the desire to avoid making mistakes. Before an important exam, an important deadline, or a business meeting, perfectionists see every opportunity as an opportunity to fail above all else. Fear of failure is a function of their exaggerated standards and desire to do things well. They fear that if they don't do it perfectly, they will reveal their inner weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Therefore, people with high levels of perfectionism generally experience more stress in their daily lives. This stress can lead to other mental and physical health problems.

Physical health and mental health are closely related, and it has been arguably proven that depression leads to cardiovascular disease.
It also influences health behavior.
Mental illness also contributes to social problems such as unemployment, family breakdown, poverty, substance abuse and related crime.
Poor mental health plays an important role in weakening immune function.
Patients who are medically depressed have worse outcomes than those who are not.
Chronic conditions such as diabetes, cancer and heart disease increase the risk of depression
Dr Vijay Pathak, Therapist in Delhi says “ Early intervention just not save a person’s chance to become a chronic patient, it also reduces the possibility of secondary complications which can not be treated by clinical interventions.”

People with low body image project their insecurities about their bodies onto their partners, leading to unsatisfying relationships. They were more likely to think their partners were less attractive to them, and as a result reported lower relationship and sexual satisfaction. This effect can be explained by a thought pattern called "projection bias". This pattern assumes that other people share the same thoughts and beliefs as you.
Deepali Batra , Relationship Therapist in Delhi says “ Psychological therapies can resolve such biases and help you in achieving the goodness of your relationship.”
