New library for kids at Village Mahroli govardhan Mathura inaugurated today.

Today is National Girls Child. One of the objectives of the program is to promote girls education. Education for girls in villages is still a very big challenge. Especially when it comes to science education. Village schools have no science labs to teach science or teachers to teach science. Boys can still go nearby cities or towns to learn science but girls will not be permitted to do so. We all need to seriously think about it. 21 जनवरी 26 को मंडोना रूरल डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन और 'ब्रज को आनंद" संस्था के संयुक्त प्रयास से मथुरा क्षय रोग विभाग द्वारा ब्रजानंद का घेरा स्थित राधा कुंड आश्रम वासी वृद्धा माताओं के लिए टीबी स्क्रीनिंग हेतु टीबी चेस्ट एक्स-रे कैंप का आयोजन किया गया। इस में एक सौ पच्चीस से भी ज्यादा माताओं की टीबी स्क्रीनिंग (जांच) की गई।

टीबी कोई लाइलाज़ बीमारी नहीं है लेकिन इसका समय से पता लगना बहुत ही आवश्यक है, अन्यथा, जैसा भारत के संदर्भ में कहा जाता है कि जब तक किसी मरीज के टीबी ग्रसित होने का पता चलता है अन्य पंद्रह से ज्यादा लोग उनके सम्पर्क से टीबी से संक्रमित हो चुके होते है।

यह बेहद जरूरी है जहां बहुत से लोग एक साथ रहते हों, खास तौर पर वृद्ध, जो कि "जोखिम समूह" परिभाषा के अंतर्गत आते हैं, उनकी समय- समय पर टी-बी की जांच करवाई जाएं। इससे हम एक ओर टीबी उन्मूलन की दिशा में आगे बढेंगे और दूसरी ओर मथुरा में रहने वाले आश्रमवासियों के जीवन को ज्यादा सुरक्षित बना पाएंगे और इससे उन्हें अपने जीवन के इस पड़ाव पर अपने आध्यात्मिक जीवन के लक्ष्यों को साधने में मदद मिलेगी।
हम आने वाले समय में इस प्रकार के आयोजन अन्य आश्रमों में भी आयोजित करने के प्रयास करेंगे ।

हिंदी विश्व दिवस की सभी को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। फाउंडेशन पिछले दो वर्षों से मथुरा जनपद के ग्रामीण अंचलों में हिंदी प्रवीण कक्षाएं चला रहा है। इसके परिणाम भी दिखने लगें हैं। न केवल विद्यार्थियों के हिंदी लेखन में सुधार हुआ है बल्कि अन्य विषयों में भी उनके परिणाम अच्छे आने लगे हैं। हम यह मानते हैं, हिंदी विशेषतौर पर हिंदी भाषी प्रदेशों में हिंदीं में कुशलता सफलता की कुंजी हैं। फाउंडेशन द्वारा प्रकाशित पुस्तक "हिंदी अनौपचारिक शिक्षा" इस प्रयास में बहुत ही उपयोगी सिद्ध हो रही हे।

मंडोना रूरल डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन और डिस्ट्रिक्ट टीबी ऑफिसर मथुरा और विभाग में कार्यरत स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों का संयुक्त प्रयास - 563 टीबी मरीजों को न्यूट्रीशनल पैकेट वितरण और उससे से बढ़ कर मरीजों से सीधा संवाद, शंकाओं का निवारण और उन्हें न सिर्फ अपने स्वास्थ्य सुधारने के लिए प्रेरित करना परंतु उन्हें प्रेरित करना कि वह अपने घर वालों का टेस्ट करवा उन्हें सुरक्षित करें और टीबी विभाग का साथ दे टीबी उन्मूलन अभियान का हिस्सा बनकर । डॉ राधा वल्लभ चीफ मेडिकल अधिकारी और अन्य अधिकारियों का शामिल होना और स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों-सत्यवीर, अनूप, राजेश, पुष्पेन्द्र, दीपक, मंजीत, पंकज यादव, दुष्यंत, निश्चल दिवाकर, शिव कुमार, तेजवीर, मुकेश कुमार, संजय शर्मा, प्रेम कुमार आदि का, श्री आलोक तिवारी PPM की अगवाई में हर प्रोग्राम में साथ खड़े रहना यह भरोसा दिलाता है कि मथुरा भारत में इतनी बड़ी आबादी वाला पहला जनपद होगा जो टीबी से मुक्त होगा।

Mundona Rural Development Foundation and District TB office on 12 and 13 of December 25 organised a nutritional support program at Farah, Baldeo, Goverdhan and Nandgaon (blocks). Apart from distributing nutrition packets, there were messages for the patients to save themselves from the cold this winter session, take medicines regularly, eat protein rich food, observe TB hygiene, get family members tested and become part of the campaign to eradicate TB from India by registering themselves as TB champions. Health officials interacted with TB to answer their questions and they also shared their stories. Dr Radha Ballabh Chief Medical Officer Mathura too participated in the program and interacted with the TB patients.

On 1st of December we inaugarted our third computer centre and 7th reading room and library at village Mahroli govardhan Mathura which is at a distance from both Govardhan and Deeg where young boys could go a study. This Mundona computer centre - Mundona Reading Room and Library- would afford opportunity especially girls to access computer education and also space to study close to their home. We are thankful to saksham trust, Shri Anurag sain and foundation for providing the necessary support.
