MOON HAS NO LIGHT OF ITS OWN

Light coming from the Moon is an illusion as we see the reflected light from the Sun, bouncing off the Moon which acts like a mirror.
Why do we see the same side of the Moon ?
The Moon rotates on its axis at the exact same speed it does orbit around the Earth, so the same side of the Moon is constantly facing the Earth.

Kids Activity :

1.One ball was made the Earth and one Moon( by covering it with silver tape) and Sun was supposedly the torch explaining that when light of the sun (torch) falls on the moon (silver ball) it reflects light.

2.One child becomes the Earth and One Moon and they go round and round holding each others hand at same speed which explains that we never see the other side of the Moon.

3.A drawing sheet to colour why we see the same side of the Moon.
