This is a still from Rosendale Primary School in London. From being the only research school in all of London, the school had already caused a stir in the education sector. The school was breaking norms, all set to experiment and break the monotony of the archaic pillars on which the education policy stands.
This is a picture of what the school came up when they needed a library but had no space and resources but that wasn't seen as a hurdle. The necessity lead to a beautiful creation of not just a library but learning zones which fetched the School Library Association Library Design Award.

Architecture is always inspired and serves a purpose. It creates a domino effect of inspiring people who inspire others in return. At spaceboat, we believe in looking at inspirational places around the world to help broaden our own horizon on how and which places to look and learn from.

This is an installation in Istanbul, which showcases 440 pairs of women’s shoes to highlight the issue of domestic violence in Turkey.

The artist, Vahit Tuna behind this creation, took the tradition of leaving one's shoes on the wall after their demise and built upon it.

Each pair of shoes in the installation is symbolic to a woman who was killed by her husband in Turkey in the previous year.

Such a heavy and crucial message through simple architecture, which is what places were always supposed to stand for. To speak to an audience, to narrate a story and to leave the viewers with a thought, an initiative to do better.

The Spaceboat Team is nothing different from a classroom consisting of different students and it is so clear in this snippet from one of our fun filled Friday afternoons. This particular one is from a session on Ad wars and how subtly advertisements are a part of our everyday life now.

The Cancún Underwater museum is a non-profit organisation working solely for art conservation. Yes, you read it right! An underwater museum working that houses 500 sculptures and aims towards art conservation. The vision behind this exemplary piece of architecture is to save the coral reefs by giving divers an alternative attraction. Using lifts and cranes, the sculptures were placed on the ocean bed, thus creating harmony for nature and humans to peacefully coexist.
What started out as a simple endeavour to save the ocean’s art, became a piece of art itself. Coral reefs now grow on the statues adding another picturesque element. The hollow structure of the statues fosters aquatic life and provides a breeding ground.
This inspirational place serves as a symbol for life, for harmony, for the relationship nature and man was always supposed to share. Serving as a great piece of architecture, the place attracts tourists, and nurtures aquatic life thus making it one of the most sought inspirational places and a must on the bucket list!
