Diversifying livelihoods is the key to building resilient rural economies. We are thrilled to share a historic milestone from West Bengal—Murshidabad Mahila Poultry Producer Company Limited (MMPPCL) has officially launched its broiler chicks placement program at our Hariharpara cluster!

A total of 3,500 birds were securely placed, marking a major leap for our women member-owners into structured livestock value chains.

To ensure optimal survival and growth from day one, our team is combining traditional dedication with modern, precision farm management protocols:

🔹 Environmental Control: Close monitoring of internal temperature, humidity, curtain management, and lux levels.

🔹 Resource Optimization: Verifying the precise setup and accessibility of automated feeders and drinkers.

🔹 Strict Biosecurity: Enforcing rigorous sanitization and overall hygiene standards to shield the flock.

Through hands-on technical assistance, FDRVC is helping rural women transition into high-value poultry micro-entrepreneurs, setting new standards for precision livestock management in the region.

Connecting rural craftsmanship with the digital marketplace requires a dual approach: technical knowledge and impeccable product quality. To bridge this gap, the FDRVC eSaras team successfully organized a intensive Two-Day Training Workshop and Product Inspection drive in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

This targeted initiative focused on empowering local producers through two core intervention pillars:

🔹 Digital Onboarding & Training: Hands-on sessions to streamline product listing, inventory management, and digital sales strategies on the eSaras platform, making e-commerce accessible for women-led enterprises.

🔹 Rigorous Product Inspection: Quality control assessments focusing on design consistency, material durability, and market-ready packaging standards to ensure rural products stand out to modern consumers.

Through the eSaras ecosystem, FDRVC continues to scale the market footprint of rural artisans—turning local craftsmanship into digitally accessible, premium national brands.

We were honored to host Mr. B.S. Jamod, Commissioner, Rewa Division, at the Singdev Mahila Kisan Producer Company (MKUPCL) in Singrauli. Accompanied by Collector Shri Gaurav Banal and CEO Zila Panchayat Shri Jagdish Gome, the Commissioner took a detailed overview of our Kodo-Kutki (Millets) processing unit.

Key Highlights of the Visit:

✅ Technology Meets Tradition: The Commissioner appreciated the use of modern machinery to process "Shree Anna," ensuring high quality and increasing market demand.

✅ Economic Empowerment: He interacted with our women farmer members, applauding them as the backbone of the rural economy.

✅ Strategic Growth: Instructions were given to authorities to focus on branding and marketing to ensure our Kodo-Kutki reaches big markets at premium prices.

Mrs. Purna Choudhary, at Koraput Halad-Aada Women Farmer Producer Company Ltd., represents the power of collective institutions in rural India.

With no prior leadership experience, she emerged as a confident leader through continuous training and support. When farmers struggled to sell their ginger produce, she stepped forward—mobilizing communities, building trust, and leading collective marketing efforts.

Her leadership resulted in the successful procurement of 21 MT of ginger, ensuring better prices for farmers and strengthening the FPO.

Today, she is not just a farmer—but a changemaker inspiring women across her community.

Aajisaru Farm Producer Company Limited in Kandhamal is a powerful example of women-led rural enterprise. Starting with small-scale turmeric cultivation, the FPO has enabled farmers to move from raw produce sales to value-added products like polished turmeric and turmeric powder.

With over 700 women farmers, the FPO has strengthened income, improved market access, and built confidence among tribal communities through collective action.

We are pleased to share that the procurement of Pulses at Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2026 has officially commenced!

This initiative is being executed under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) by the National Cooperative Consumers'​ Federation Of India Limited (NCCF) for Jhalkari Bai MKPCL, located in Mauranipur, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).

Why this is a milestone:

🔹 Price Security: Ensures our farmers receive the government-mandated MSP, protecting them from price fluctuations.

🔹 Market Access: Connects Jhalkaribai MKPCL directly to a national-level procurement agency (NCCF).

🔹 Empowerment: Strengthens the financial resilience of the women-led Producer Enterprise and its member farmers.

🫚 Kenna WFPCL (Arunachal Pradesh): Achieved a major breakthrough by supplying 55 MT of high-quality, pesticide-residue-free Ginger to X5 Agrotech FPC Limited for international markets.
