Handmade Pottery// Longpi Pottery from Manipur is distinct from other forms of pottery since the pieces are made without a potters wheel.Longpi is made from a mixed paste of ground black serpentinite rock and a special brown clay.The pieces are hand shaped by skilled artisans, polished, sun dried and heated in a bonfire.They are then polished with a special tree leaf locally called Chiron ni. The black color of Longpi Pottery is a result of polishing the heated earthen pots with the tree leaf thereby making the piece completely natural and eco friendly.☘️

Having a consistent routine helps us form habits, which can be performed on auto pilot.We can multitask without being mindful and present.

Ritual:A ceremony consisting of a series of actions performed with belief in a prescribed order.
The key to a ritual is to believe in a sacred purpose, something larger than us and devoting our time and presence to it.Rituals are powered by intentions and it requires us to be mindful,at the same time rituals also allow us to access our subconscious and deeper states of being while the body is engaged in doing the actions in the same way every time.
