The International Conference on Dam Safety 2026 is currently underway in Bangalore, Karnataka, bringing together national and international leaders, experts, and institutions committed to advancing dam safety and sustainable water resource management.

The conference is being graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, the President of ICOLD, the Vice President of the World Bank, and the Chairman of the Central Water Commission (CWC). Their leadership and insights are enriching discussions on dam safety, innovation, and resilient infrastructure.

The Dam Safety Chatbot, developed by ICED in collaboration with IIT Roorkee, highlighting the growing role of AI in dam safety management.

Release of publications by ACIWRM Karnataka, contributing to integrated water resources management knowledge.

Release of CWC Guidelines on Design Flood Estimation, supporting scientific and standardized dam safety practices.
