As part of the World Environment Day 2026 campaign themed "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future," EIACP-RP, FRI conducted an Awareness Programme through Pamphlet Distribution on June 6, 2026, at Bindal Basti, Dehradun. Underprivileged children and their families were sensitized about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and encouraged to say no to single-use plastic by adopting eco-friendly and sustainable practices.

As part of the World Environment Day 2026 campaign themed "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future," EIACP-RP, FRI Dehradun organized a “Cloth Bag Donation Drive” on June 5, 2026, at various locations across Dehradun city. During the event, cloth bags were distributed while community members were sensitized about the harmful impacts of plastic pollution and encouraged to say no to single-use plastic by adopting sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. The initiative promoted environmental awareness and inspired collective action towards reducing plastic waste and building a cleaner, greener future.

EIACP RP, FRI Dehradun has released an infographic and event flyer on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” To commemorate the occasion, EIACP RP, FRI Dehradun is organizing a Cloth Bag Distribution Drive on 5 June 2026 and an Awareness Campaign through Pamphlet Distribution on 6 June 2026 at various locations in Dehradun, promoting eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics and encouraging sustainable environmental practices.

EIACP RP, Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun organized a Medicinal Plant Saplings Distribution and Plantation Drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign at Institute of Hotel Management Dehradun on 27 May 2026. During the drive, 50 medicinal saplings including Sarpgandha, Baheda, Kapur, Harad, and Ritha were planted, promoting environmental awareness and encouraging green initiatives for a sustainable future.

EIACP RP FRI Dehradun organized “Leaf Art for Maa – An Eco-Creative Tribute to Mothers” on May 8, 2026 at Phool Chand Naari Shilp Inter College under the celebration of Mother’s Day. During the programme, students created eco-friendly leaf art dedicated to their mothers, promoting creativity and environmental awareness. Students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in the programme.
