To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, Government Degree College Pajhota, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, is hosting a series of diverse activities. As part of this series, an orientation on 'Weaving a story of Handloom' was conducted. Mr. Mukul Kumar Sharma, Director of Collective Human Actions for Development Foundation, delivered this session. The students found the session highly informative and beneficial. Additionally, an exhibition showcasing Pine handicraft and handloom items was also displayed.

The Collective Human Actions for Development Foundation team is spearheading a digital literacy awareness drive, promoting digital and financial literacy in Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh's villages through leaflets, orientation sessions, and awareness programs with SHG, schools, Mahila Mandals, and Yuva Mandals.

A comprehensive program encompassing digital literacy, financial literacy awareness, and EK Ped Maa ke Naam was successfully organized in collaboration with My Mera Yuva Bharat Nahan in Lani Naya village. Mr. Bharat Bhushan Mohil, Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, presided over the event. WYSD2025, World Youth Skill Day was observed in Loja Manal District Sirmaur, in partnership with NYK Mera Yuva Bharat Nahan, providing participants with insights into digital and financial literacy programs, as well as the significance of acquiring skills. Yoga is a vital necessity in the present time. It helps to promote physical and mental health. With this objective, the CHAD foundation participated in International Yoga Day at Chamba Ground Nahan District Sirmaur.

In Dewamanal village, Block Sangrah district Sirmaur, a village-level orientation program on digital and financial literacy was conducted today, focusing on women's groups and youth club members. Around 35 women and youth participated in the program, gaining insights into digital and financial literacy, its importance, and the learning process.

Currently, there is an urgent need for digital and financial literacy. In this context, Collective Human Action for Development Foundation is implementing a digital and financial literacy program in partnership with Aadhaar Society. As part of this initiative, digital and financial literacy sessions were recently organized in Nahan, where youth were educated on digital literacy and its key components.
