न सहयोग। न उपाय।
त्यसैले मैले मेरी बिरामी आमालाई काखमा उठाएँ… र हिँडेँ।
हरेक पाइला चाल्दा, मैले उहाँको पीडाको भार मात्र होइन,
हामीलाई बिर्सिएको प्रणालीको उपेक्षा पनि महसुस गरिरहेको थिएँ।
त्यो टुटेको बाटोमा, मैले आमासँग एउटा प्रतिज्ञा गरेँ:
अब यस्तो दुःख कसैले पनि भोग्नु नपरोस्।
मैले त्यो प्रतिज्ञा पूरा गरेँ।
आज त्यही ठाउँमा बाटो बनेको छ।
तर मेरो प्रतिज्ञा त्यतिमै सीमित रहेन।
अब म प्रत्येक गाउँमा बाटो चाहन्छु,
हरेक आमाका लागि सम्मान,
र हरेक घरसम्म पहुँच।
यो मेरो लागि राजनीति होइन।
यो व्यक्तिगत हो।
किनकि परिवर्तन र विकास नारा होइनन्,
यी त जीवनरेखा हुन्।
र हरेक बिर्सिएको गोरेटो बाटो नबन्दासम्म, म रोकिने छैन।

That day, there was no road.
No help. No way.
So I lifted my sick mother in my arms… and walked.
With every step, I felt the weight of her pain
and the neglect of a system that had forgotten us.
On that broken path, I made a promise to my mother:
No one should ever suffer like this again.
I fulfilled that promise.
Today, there is a road in that very place.
But my promise did not end there.
Now, I want roads for every village,
dignity for every mother,
and access for every home.
This is not politics for me.
This is personal.
Because change and development are not slogans.
They are lifelines.
And I will not stop until every forgotten path becomes a road.
