The Deeper Truth

There was a very ancient linguistic connection between:

Indo-Aryan peoples (India)
Iranian peoples (Persia)
Both came from a broader Indo-Iranian branch thousands of years earlier.
But that does not mean
India is Indira and Indira is India.
They share distant ancestry — not identity.

ଉତ୍କଳ ପରି ଦେବଭୂମି ଓ ତୀର୍ଥଭୂମି ବିରଳ | ଉତ୍କଳ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନାମ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହି ଭୂଖଣ୍ଡର ନାମ ଉତ୍କଳ ରଖାଯାଇଥିଲା | ଉତ୍କଳ କଳାର ଭୂମି ଉତ୍କଳ ଯୁଗେ ଯୁଗେ ତାର ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଅବଦାନ ପାଇଁ ସମ୍ମାନ ର ଅଧିକାରିଣୀ ହୋଇଛି | 1803 ରେ ଇଂରେଜ ମାନେ ଉତ୍କଳ ମାଟିକୁ ଅଧ୍ୟାକାର କରିବା ପରେ ଏକ ବୀର ସ୍ବାଭିମାନୀ ଜାତିର ଅବକ୍ଷୟ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା | କିନ୍ତୁ ଓଡିଶା ମାଟିର କେତେକ ଯଶସ୍ବୀଙ୍କ ଅଗାଢ ପରିଶ୍ରମ ବଳରେ ଓଡିଶା ସ୍ବାଧୀନ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ମାନ୍ୟତା ଲାଭ କଲା । ୧୯୩୬ରୁ ଏପ୍ରିଲ୍ ୧ ତାରିଖକୁ ଉତ୍କଳ ଦିବସ ବୋଲି ପାଳନ କରଯାଇଥାଏ । yଏହି ଦିନ ନୂଆ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଭାବେ ଉତ୍କଳ ( ଓଡ଼ିଶା ) ଗଠନ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।
