✨ Cinema Rendezvous continues to prove that cinema is more than just watching a film it’s about experiencing it.

Our screening of My Octopus Teacher was a beautiful reminder of how thoughtfully curated cinema can leave a lasting impact. From the beach-themed dress code and beach house venue to the choice of a film deeply connected to the ocean, every detail felt intentional and immersive. It wasn’t just a screening; it felt like stepping into the world of the film itself.

The documentary moved many of us with its themes of trust, compassion, forgiveness, and the unexpected bond between human and nature. Moments from the film stayed with us long after the credits rolled, inspiring reflection on second chances and the beauty of connection.

What made the experience even more special was everything beyond the screen—the beachside atmosphere, breakfast, meaningful discussions, and the incredible weather that seemed to become part of the story. Walking out to the sound of the waves after the screening felt almost surreal, as if the film had followed us into reality.

Most importantly, Cinema Rendezvous brings together people who genuinely love cinema. The warmth of the community, the thoughtful curation, and the shared conversations are what make every gathering unique.

We arrived expecting to watch a film. We left having experienced something much more. ❤️🎬🌊

Tamil cinema has lost a true legend. Bharathiraja was more than a filmmaker—he was a visionary director, writer, producer, actor, and mentor who changed the face of Indian cinema. Through his unforgettable stories, he brought the beauty, emotions, and spirit of rural life to the screen, creating timeless classics that touched millions of hearts.

His films inspired generations, introduced countless talents, and left an everlasting mark on cinema. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will continue to live through every story he told and every life he inspired.

Thank you for the memories, the emotions, and the magic of your cinema.

Rest in Peace, Bharathiraja. 🕊️🎬
