The officials in the Indore division of Madhya Pradesh police were trained to learn sign language to help people who have speech disabilities or are hard of hearing. It is the first of its kind initiative in the country.

Police constable Manish Ujjainiya, who completed the training said, “Now, I will be able to ask for names, addresses, and problems with gestures and will also be able to solve it."

We are excited to announce our partnership with Blee to launch our first pilot! Involved participants would learn the Indian Sign Language in a gamified way, for the first time ever in India!

28 Hearing Teachers of Deaf students and 22 Hearing students will take part in this gamified learning experience. This pilot would serve as a new benchmark on our journey to make society more inclusive and towards a better world.

Tiktok recently released a new feature - automated captions. This feature will make the platform more inclusive for the Deaf.

Creators will be able to edit the subtitles generated which will save them a lot of time and energy. This feature is only available in American English and Japanese for now.

It is great to see tech companies like this take initiatives to make the world more accessible and inclusive!
