आओ अहद करो कि ये मुल्क हमारा है. हम इसी के लिए हैं और उसकी तक़दीर के बुनियादी फैसले हमारी आवाज़ के बगैर अधूरे ही रहेंगे. आज ज़लज़लों से डरते हो ? कभी तुम ख़ुद एक ज़लज़ला थे. आज अंधेरे से कांपते हो ? क्या याद नहीं रहा कि तुम्हारा वजूद ख़ुद एक उजाला था. ये बादलों के पानी की सील क्या है कि तुमने भीग जाने के डर से अपने पायंचे चढ़ा लिए हैं. वो तुम्हारे ही इस्लाफ़ थे जो समुंदरों में उतर गए. पहाड़ियों की छातियों को रौंद डाला. आंधियां आईं तो उनसे कह दिया कि तुम्हारा रास्ता ये नहीं है. ये ईमान से भटकने की ही बात है जो शहंशाहों के गिरेबानों से खेलने वाले आज खुद अपने ही गिरेबान के तार बेच रहे हैं. और ख़ुदा से उस दर्जे तक गाफ़िल हो गये हैं कि जैसे उस पर कभी ईमान ही नहीं था.
