🚨 Future-ready jobs cannot be built with outdated training systems.
During his visit to Government Polytechnic Colleges and ITIs in Srinagar, J&K Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary stressed a message that resonates across India’s skilling ecosystem:
👉 Youth need modern skills, advanced training infrastructure, industry exposure, and market-oriented courses to stay employable in the evolving economy.
From upgrading laboratories with advanced machinery to strengthening industry linkages for internships and placements, the focus was clear — skilling must, in sync with real market demand.
What stood out most was the emphasis on:
✔️ Practical learning over theoretical limitations
✔️ Industry-aligned courses
✔️ Entrepreneurship & self-reliance
✔️ Market access for students’ products and innovations
✔️ Future-ready technical education
The Deputy CM also encouraged youth to leverage opportunities under Mission YUVA, where eligible youth can access loans of up to ₹10 lakh without mortgage or guarantor requirements to pursue entrepreneurship.
This reflects a larger shift happening across India:
The conversation is no longer just about getting trained. It is now about becoming:
🔹 Employable
🔹 Adaptable
🔹 Entrepreneurial
🔹 Future-ready
đź’¬ Do you think our current ITIs, polytechnics, and training institutions are evolving fast enough to meet future industry demands?
