Even after completing nearly four splendid decades, Hotel Ranjeet, retains an originality which is unique and untouched by time. Since its inception in 1970, it has been a pioneer in various spheres of hospitality industry, whether it is introducing Continental and Chinese cuisine or the concept of outdoor catering. How many times have u stepped through the welcoming front doors of Ranjeet into a hall which reminds you a scene from Mehboob studio? Creating the magic of yesteryears is a daunting task. But not for its founders, who have maintained the splendor of the 70’s and 80’s to perfection. This place, in one word, sings the saga of heritage. Innumerable patrons have been staying with them since the first day and continue to do so to date. Many a time it comes to our ears that guests have insisted their loved ones at Bhopal to treat them with parcels of their choicest dishes from Ranjeet when they are passing through the city of lakes, on the train.
With more than 100 varieties of dishes, an assortment of beverages Ranjeet is a food lover’s heaven greater than heaven. Beginning with the ubiquitous appetizers and snacks ( or a peg or two from the Maikhânâ) followed by soups and the main course, to winding up with a variety of desserts difficult to choose from. Ranjeet caters to the gastronomical needs of one and all. The weight watchers, too, have a wide range to choose from a variety of whole wheat chappatis, bowls of salads and food specially cooked in olive oil.
Indeed, Ranjeet can sweep a foodie and an archaeologist off their feet. It can be called a paradise on earth with the culture that is a fusion of “Nawabi” and “Bhopali”
