✳️Habitat- Marshes, ponds and crop fields.

✳️Scientific Name- Vanellus indicus.
✳️Local Names- Hottiti(Bengali)
✳️Habit & habitat- ground birds, incapable of perching.
✳️Conservation status- LC(Least concern).
✳️ Size- About 35 cm (14 in) long.

✳️Scientific Name- Coracias bengalensis.
✳️Common name - Blue Jay.
✳️Habitat- Mainly around wetlands, mudflats, marshes and often in open Woodland.
✳️Feeding habits- Small insects, reptiles,birds, sometimes mammals.
✳️Conservation status- LC(Least Concern)
✳️Size - 30 cms approx.
✳️Weight- 160 gms.

✳️Size - around 25-30 cm.
✳️ Weight - 65 to 85 gm.
