Haqooq Ul Ibaad is the duty we owe to humanity and there are rights of every soul on another, rights of human beings. Allah Almighty has provided guidance to mankind about human beings.

A true Muslim is always concerned with the rights of human being particularly as the right of Allah Almighty. Islam is not just about following the path of righteousness but Islam is a complete way of life which includes both duties towards Allah (SWT) and the duties towards humanity as well.

Hoqooq ul Ibaad are equally important as hoqooq ul Allah. We are having a misconception that if we are performing our obligatory prayers, paying zakat and fasting, this is where our duty ends, we are having our place reserved in Jannah.

But it’s not like that. If once we show negligence in Huqooq Allah, Allah might forgive us but if we neglect Huqooq ul Ibad, those can’t be forgiven by Allah but only the person whose hoqooq were neglected.

The first Caliph following the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A.), also referred to as Abu Bakr. Abdullah bin Abu Quhafah Uthman bin Aamer Al Qurashi Al Taymi was his full name.

In the year 573 AD, two years and several months after the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A.) was born in Makkah.

At the age of eighteen, he got into the trade and became a cloth merchant, carrying on his family’s business, in 591 AD. He made a lot of caravan travels in the following years. He travelled extensively throughout the modern Middle East on business, visiting Yemen, Syria, and many other nations.

Abu Bakr (R.A.) became the leader of his tribe despite his father’s continued existence, and his business expanded as a result of his many attributes, which included kindness, political acumen, trade/business acumen, and a thorough understanding of the history of Arab tribes.

On the Day of Victory in Makkah, his father, Uthman Abu Quhafah, converted to Islam. Salma bint Sakhar, well known as Umm Al Khair, his mother, converted to Islam early and moved to Madinah.

This Ramadan,Team Umma India joins hands with the Work Foundation to sow the seeds of change with a plantation drive.

In Islam, planting of trees signifies a charitable act, as The Prophet Muhammad said, “Whenever Muslims plant a tree, they will earn the reward of charity because of the food that comes from it; and likewise, what is stolen from it, what the wild beasts eat out of it, what the birds eat out of it, and what people take from it is charity for them”.

Islam teaches that men and women are equal before God. It grants women divinely sanctioned inheritance, property, social and marriage rights, including the right to reject the terms of a proposal and to initiate divorce.

In Islam's early period, women were professionals and property owners, as many are today.

Prophet Muhammad himself frequently counseled Muslim men to treat their wives and daughters well.

Fought in 3 AH, the Battle of Uhud is the second greatest battle fought between the Muslim army under the leadership of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the leaders of the Quraysh. The Battle of Uhud took place in the name of revenge one year after the Battle of Badr and three years following the migration to Madinah.

However, the initial victory of the Muslims during Ghazwah Uhud soon turned into defeat after some archers left a strategically important spot, allowing the Quraysh to attack from behind.

IN BATTLE OF BADR -

The first decisive battle in the HISTORY OF ISLAM , Muslim army was made up of 300-317 men, 82-86 Emigrants, 61 from Aws and 170 from Khazraj.

They were not well-equipped nor adequately prepared. They had only two horses, 70 camels, one for two or three men to ride alternatively.

The little army was divided into two battalions, the Emigrants with a standard raised by 'Ali bin Abi Talib, and the Helpers whose standard was in the hand of Sa'd bin Mu'adh.

Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam was appointed to the leadership of the right flank, Al- Miqdad bin 'Amr to lead the left flank, and the rear of the army was at the command of Qais bin Abi Sa'sa'ah.

The General Commander-in-Chief was the Prophet Muhammad, of course.
