सितबर 2023 में भारतीय वायुसेना (Indian Air Force) को पहला C295 मिलिट्री ट्रांसपोर्ट एयरक्राफ्ट मिल जाएगा. भारत में भी इस विमान का निर्माण होगा. पहले 16 विमान स्पेन में बनेंगे. उसके बाद बाकी के 40 विमान को टाटा एडवांस सिस्टम्स लिमिटेड (TASL) बनाएगी. यह निर्माण प्रक्रिया स्पेन और भारत के बीच पार्टनरशिप के तहत होगी. टाटा इसके लिए गुजरात के वडोदरा में फैक्ट्री बना रहा है. यह फैक्ट्री 2026 तक बनकर तैयार होगी.
