At just two years old, they are taking their first steps into a world away from home. Every smile, every tiny achievement, every moment of curiosity becomes a memory that we cherish.

Our takeaways are an integral part of every celebration. As children create them, they don't just make a memento to take home; they experience the festival through art, creativity, and hands-on learning. This experiential approach helps children connect with the meaning behind every celebration while developing fine motor skills, creativity, and a sense of pride in their work.

The Number Games at Hummingbird 🔢

Learning numbers becomes exciting when children experience them through activities, games, and hands-on practice.

From matching number names with numerals to confidently writing backward numbers, our UKG children are building strong number sense while having fun. These simple classroom activities help children develop accuracy, concentration, confidence, and a deeper understanding of numbers.

At Hummingbird, learning is not about memorizing—it is about understanding.

🌾 Fist of Rice Project 🌾

Every Monday, our children bring a fistful of rice and add it to our community collection. The rice is donated to Ananda Sagara, supporting children from families of daily wage earners.

Through this simple act of giving, children learn that kindness is not an occasional gesture but a habit that can become part of everyday life. They develop empathy, gratitude, and compassion while understanding the joy of sharing with others.

Last year, Hummingbird families collectively contributed over 750 kg of rice and 200 kg of groceries, with many parents choosing to donate on their child's birthday as well.

We are happy to continue this meaningful initiative this year too. Here are some of our little Hummingbirds making their contribution and giving the project a wonderful beginning for the year ahead.

Our UKG children operate at a higher level of physical training and learning through group activities - such as identifying vowels.

Needless to say - they ace them both.

Learning for LKG children happens in two parts - the necessary physical training , writing practice through curved lines ,playdough molding and academics through activities - here our children are learning about body parts using toy models.

Our nursery children are getting trained in multiple skills - Body balancing, gross and fine motor skills, pencil holding practice, sand tracing and many more - the essential skills they need in coming days to ace the school time

One of the first things we teach our play group children is to learn to function as a team and through carefully planned activities like ball sorting , we teach them to improve their social skills along with gross and fine motor skills.
