Our MOTTO is to give best education to the aspired candidates in the field of MUSIC & DANCE

SAMARASA FOUNDATION for ARTS is a professional, comprehensive, performing and visual arts institution devoted to the advancement of Music and Dance. It is a group of young, talented and educated artists in the society.

When the pen and the foot move from the same centre of discipline, art becomes a conversation with truth itself.

Madhumita Ravindra is an artist who has gathered many rivers into one practice. Beginning Bharatanatyam at six under Guru Smt. Shakuntala Prabhat, she now deepens her work under Guru Smt. Namita Desai at the Samarasa Foundation for Arts. She holds the Visharad Purna Certification from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Performing Arts (Bharatanatyam) from Bangalore University. Her training in Yakshagana under Guru Dr. Radhakrishna Urala at Kalakadamba Art Centre widens her expressive range. A certified Yoga Teacher from Yogakshema, Bengaluru, studying under Guru Virupaksha Belawadi, she brings breath and stillness to movement.

At Bekal Gokulam Goushala, Madhumita's Bharatanatyam unfolded under the open sky, surrounded by the quiet presence of Goumata and offered at the feet of Lord Krishna. The sacred earth of Periya held her steps. The sea carried the sound of her ghungroos. Here, where art is not separate from devotion, her performance became an offering in the truest sense.

We are grateful to have witnessed this beauty. To all who hold the spirit of Vaishakha Natanam and the vision of Bekal Gokulam Goushala, we offer our deepest thanks.

🌺 ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಧಾತು 2026 — ಒಂದು ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಯಾತ್ರೆ! 🌺
Samskruti Dhatu 2026 — A Journey to Remember!
With hearts full of gratitude and eyes full of joy, we bid a warm farewell to Samskruti Dhatu 2026 — our Cultural Heritage Summer Camp that brought together the energy of young hearts and the wisdom of ancient traditions.
Over 21 enriching days (April 5–25), our young culture-bearers immersed themselves in the beauty of Bharatiya Samskruti — through music, dance, art, nature crafts, devotional learning, storytelling, heritage cooking, and so much more. Every single day was a celebration — of curiosity, of creativity, and of the timeless roots that make us who we are.
🎵 They sang. 💃 They danced. 🎨 They created. 🌿 They explored. 📖 They discovered.
From crafting seed-and-pulse mosaics inspired by nature, to exploring the warmth of our traditional Goshala, to learning the values embedded in our Bhagavad Gita and Kannada heritage — every moment was carefully woven to help our children experience their culture, not just learn about it.
A heartfelt thank you 🙏 to:
✨ Our wonderful children — whose enthusiasm made every day shine
✨ Our dedicated teachers and instructors — who poured their passion into every session
✨ Our supportive parents — whose trust made this camp possible
✨ Our entire SamaRasa family — for making it all happen with love
This camp was never just a summer program. It was a seed planted — of pride in our heritage, of love for our traditions, and of a lifelong connection to the rich cultural soil of Bharat. 🌱
We look forward to seeing these seeds bloom. 🌸

Gau Shala Visit – A Soulful Experience!!

The day began with children and parents gathering together for a meaningful Gaushala visit, filled with positivity and purpose.

We reflected on the importance of cows in our lives—both materialistic and spiritual. Shri Naveen Naidu, Gaushala Caretaker shared about the Gaushala’s activities, including homas, havans, and poojas conducted for the well-being of society.

The group then participated in
"Gau Aarati" offering prayers with devotion and gratitude. Shri Naveen Naidu and his mother were honored for their noble efforts in preserving and serving Gaumata.

Children and parents spent time bonding with the cows and calves—touching, feeding, and gently pampering them. This interaction brought immense joy and created a deep sense of connection with nature. Naveen ji also educated everyone about different indigenous cow breeds and their unique qualities.

The visit concluded with bhajans, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere.

This unique experience at Samskuti Dhatu 2026 was truly enriching, with wholehearted participation from parents. We deeply appreciate their efforts in connecting children to our rich cultural roots.

Gratitude to Gaumata, the caretakers, and the universe for guiding us towards such meaningful experiences. 🙏

Celebrating the Roots of Kannada Literature 🌼

At Samarasa School of Performing Arts, we believe that nurturing cultural awareness from a young age is as important as artistic training.
As part of our learning journey, our students are being introduced to “Kavirajamarga”, one of the earliest and most treasured literary works of the Kannada language. Through simple explanations and storytelling, children are guided to understand its essence, values, and historical significance.

Today, we are happy to share a small excerpt from Kavirajamarga with you all — a glimpse into the richness of our language and heritage.
By connecting young minds with such timeless literature, we strive to instill love for Kannada, respect for our scholars, and pride in our cultural roots.

Preserving tradition. Inspiring the future.

Dear all

We are happy to share that our children will be appearing for the Dance Exam conducted by Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.

Their preparation for this exam began almost a year ago, and they have been learning with great dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm.

A special highlight is that Samarasa students are also getting valuable experience with live musical accompaniment, which helps them understand rhythm, expression, and stage presence in a more professional way.

We wholeheartedly appreciate your consistent support and encouragement. Let us together wish all our young dancers the very best for their upcoming exam.

Warm regards,
Team Samarasa
