Some crises arrive suddenly, while others unfold so gradually that we barely notice them happening.

A forest becomes smaller.
A river becomes weaker.
The air becomes harder to breathe.
Temperatures become harder to ignore.

None of it happens overnight. And that's precisely why we convince ourselves there's still time to act. Until one day, what felt distant becomes impossible to overlook, and we've already lost more than we realize.

This World Environment Day, let's treat today's warning like tomorrow's reality.

Across the world, countless lives remain unseen beyond the labels placed on them. What often gets reduced to numbers is, in reality, shaped by resilience, effort, and everyday survival.

There are stories of responsibility, care, and contribution that rarely get acknowledged. This is a moment to look beyond assumptions and recognise the people behind them. Awareness begins with understanding, and understanding begins with empathy.

This International S*x Workers' Day, let's choose to see with respect, not judgement.

Milk has a funny way of showing up throughout our lives. It’s there in some of our earliest memories, in everyday routines we barely think about, in the comfort foods we keep coming back to, and even in the trends that come and go. Somehow, every generation, every age, and every version of us has found a different way to enjoy it. What changes is how we drink it. What stays the same is the place it holds in our lives.

This World Milk Day, we’re celebrating the many roles milk has played over the years, quietly connecting moments, memories, and milestones along the way. Swipe through and see how many phases you recognize.

Your body keeps the score. But it also keeps healing.

One of the biggest myths about smoking is that the damage is already done. In reality, the moment you stop, your body gets to work...repairing, restoring, and slowly reversing years of harm.

You may not notice every change as it happens. But your heart does. Your lungs do. Your brain does.

This World No To***co Day, remember: quitting isn't just about adding years to your life. It's about giving your body the chance to feel better, breathe easier, and break free from addiction.

Take the first step. Your body will take care of the rest.

For many women, pain becomes so routine that it stops feeling alarming and starts feeling “normal.” But not everything women live with should be normalized.

According to a 2024 McKinsey Health Institute report, women spend 25% more of their lives in poor health than men. Many symptoms are overlooked, dismissed, or underdiagnosed for years before the right care is given. This International Day of Action for Women’s Health, let’s create more awareness, more conversations, and more support around women’s health. Because listening sooner and taking symptoms seriously can make all the difference.

Next up in our KYC series is Sangeeta.

Confident, hardworking, and always ready to get things moving, Sangeeta brings a positive energy that naturally rubs off on the people around her. She’s approachable, dependable, and carries a personality that feels equal parts thoughtful and unexpected.

There’s also a fun side to her that shows up through quirky habits, unusual preferences, and a perspective on life that feels uniquely her own.

In this KYC, we get to know the person behind the role through questions that uncover the little details you wouldn’t usually hear in everyday work conversations.

For so many of us, tea has never been just about the tea itself. It’s the little lift in the middle of a long day. The warmth shared across conversations with strangers, friends, and family. The comfort we instinctively reach for. The different feelings that somehow arrive with every cup.

Across the world, people brew tea for different reasons, at different hours, in different ways. Yet somehow, the feeling around it always feels familiar. This International Tea Day, here’s to everything a cup of tea quietly brings with it.

Next up in our KYC series is Manju.

If there is laughter around, chances are Manju is not too far away. Always animated, always smiling, and usually in the middle of a conversation, he brings a kind of easy energy that naturally lifts the room.

Known for his cheerful presence, Manju is equal parts lively, curious, and full of stories. The kind of person who always has something to say, usually with a laugh, and sometimes with a little surprise thrown in.

This edition of KYC is a fun little peek into the person behind the role. The habits, quirks, and unexpected details that do not always show up during the workday, but make Manju very much Manju.

More Museians coming up soon.

“They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” — Maya Angelou

Care, in its truest form, is remembered long after the moment has passed. Across the world, nurses carry this responsibility every day, showing up with strength, empathy, and resilience, even when systems fall short. The scale of this effort is often reduced to numbers, but its impact is deeply human. This is a reminder that behind every moment of care is a person giving more than what’s seen or measured. Today is about recognising that invisible weight, and why supporting those who care for others matters more than ever.

Every story has more behind it than what first meets the eye. The problem begins when only one version is allowed through, and everything else is pushed far enough out of view to be ignored. That’s how context gets lost, narratives get shaped, and the truth gets locked behind what we’re allowed to see.

A free press should exist to question what’s missing, follow what’s been left out, and make sure the full story has a chance to be seen. This World Press Freedom Day is a reminder of why that matters, and why protecting press freedom means protecting the public’s right to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Here’s to the integrity of the institution, and to protecting its freedom on all days.
