Ensemble of the Wild: Malabar Parakeet X wildberries

The blue winged Malabar Parakeet is mostly arboreal, consuming a wide range of seeds, fruits and berries and as such it plays a large part in seed dispersal and vegetation growth. From time to time they have been observed feeding closer to the ground as well, snacking on wildberries that are one of their staples. This leads to their proliferation as the malabar parakeet flies throughout forests, spreading the wild berries seeds through their droppings.
