The indian Government has an ePaymentGateway which mandates all payments above 25000 Rs to be directly credited to a bank account and eliminates the process of clearing cheques. This is a great move towards mitigating corruption .
Govt payment of above Rs 25K to be credited to bank account With an aim to eliminate any corruption in government payments, all the departments will henceforth credit payment of over Rs 25,000 directly into the account of payees.
