RGIPT has HQ in Jais, near Rae Bareilly, and multiple units including in Bangalore, Assam, etc.

Bangalore unit of RGIPT is envisaged to be an independent unit focussing on cutting edge research in Energy Sector, promoting innovation, indigenisation and working towards energy security of India.
