some hectic activity past few days - sanding the pieces, glazing, cones are made, and we start loading - my big box going in with expert care, placed on shells.

Textures, patterns and building forms - all done, and in the bisque firing. Now we wait - fingers crossed it all survives.

This brown speckled stoneware clay really comes alive when glaze fired - the white speckles are recycled white stoneware clay from the studio. Cutest espresso cups - a custom order, but shall definitely make some more for the shop.

After falling in love with Nupur's plumeria studies, the idea to bring her whimsical monochromes to life on ceramic slowly took shape through months of collaboration. This gorgeous tray is hand built in a rich brown stoneware, with meticulous painting by Nupur.

Nupur Panemanglor is an independent illustrator and multidisciplinary designer whose work is deeply inspired by nature and the organic textures and patterns found in the world around us.
