Continuing our engagement with

An invitation to initiate plastic awareness and collection from Kunjrao Kumar Shala, Anand District from an enthusiastic teacher Dharmishta ben Patel.

The call was close to my heart. I invited our social partner as well, Surendra - ji joined in.

As I was connecting with children, the spark in their eyes was very visible.

They responded to the call to stop burning plastic, paper, dry leaves...burn nothing.

They responded to separate different wastes at home, depositing them at school.

They acknowledged that the problem was not of plastic but of human behaviour in disposing post use.

Small steps to build momentum.

On March 23, 2026, BVM material testing laboratory conducted an Izod impact test on non-standard sized samples of Silica Plastic Paver Blocks (25 mm thickness).

This slow-motion video captures the pendulum hammer striking the vertically clamped specimen.

In the Izod test, toughness is quantified by the energy absorbed during fracture and not merely resistance to breaking.

The pendulum's reduced swing height post-impact directly corresponds to this absorbed energy, as shown in the instrument readings.

Results: 21 J, 19 J, and 16 J indicate moderate toughness comparable to semi-ductile metals such as Brass (20-25 J), Phosphorous Bronze (15-25 J), or low-strength Aluminum/Magnesium alloys (15-25 J)

Worried how to channelize your low value plastic - wrappers, polybags, or any plastic containers to us, at our authorised recycling plant?

We are pleased to join hands with to connect with individuals, institutions, societies, industries who may like to see that their waste being prevented from landfill, channelized into circularity.

Earth Rakshak is already facilitating about 1000 kg every week. We at Meemansa have increased our capacity to process upto 10,000 kgs of low value plastic per week.

Target region - Anand District, and any region within 50 km radius of Anand.

Please reach out to the Earth Rakshak Program team.

Whether it is a beautiful tourist destination - Bali, or Anand, there is one common habit that exists.

We continue to burn away our natural resources, and also create pollution.

We are happy there is a technology that can convert what seems to be a problem, is actually money that we burn, and spend money to offset the carbon emission we generate.

In India we have been able to realise a sale value of INR 10 to INR 150 per kg of product, depending on the size, shape and design.

And where does the majority upto 95% of the money to? To people.

Connect with us to build an ecosystem.

See the waste being converted to value.

Thank you Chetan-ji for the interest to understand how could address all kinds of low value discards.

MLPs, Single use plastic, empty medicine strips.

It was interesting to discuss hownthe versatility of the process allows to accept plastic with aluminium foil.

Plastic plays an active role as a binder while
Aluminium, sand, dust, ash and all such inert materials act as a filler.

Together they give each other a new life, being back our wasted resources to .

Thank you Asha-ji and Priyanka-ji, all the children, schools for the visit to the demonstration of circularity with silica plastic block technology.

Children brought colour to the products, art and creativity met technology.

Together we can do aot.

Tomorrow is the last day of exhibition.

Bombay exhibition centre, Goregaon, Hall 2, Stall E14.

An open invitation to all.

Sometimes it is not purely commerce that can buy satisfaction, but the feeling of living in harmony with nature and nurturing the environment to the extent possible that brings immense pleasure.

Meemansa Upcycling

Meemansa Upcycling is a vertical of the women ethnic wear garment manufacturing company called MEEMANSA

We are a social vertical of our parent company where we:

  • Create Sustainable Livelihood: We help create a sustainable livelihood for underprivileged in rural and urban areas by providing them free of cost fabric and getting our upcycled products stitched by them. We buy back the product which ensures a continuous income for the individual.

  • Reduce environmental Impact: In Meemansa upcycling we use the waste cotton fabric produced in the garment manufacturing process at Meemansa to create fashionable and utility bags, office products, pouches and garments. We take pride in being a zero waste company by adding value to our waste.
