Hanata By Addon developed by Casadel builders is a premium business hotel right in the middle of the City. Situated at just walking distance from Muttom metro station the 20 cents land was a challenge in itself. The L shaped linear plot gave little opportunity to explore the layouts, but gave a along linear corridor with rooms on both sides of the aisle. The plot was 3mtr below road level. This level was utilised cleverly to accomdate parking below and hotel above. Multi level parking is provided in basement.
The hotel boasts of a premium lobby, reception, restaurant and kitchen, banquet hall, gym, pool with panoramic views of the landscape and other amenities. The hotel has around 50 keys with multiple room layout options. Built on a sell and operate model, the hotel project is a business experiment as well.

ആലുവ മാർക്കറ്റ് സമുച്ചയത്തിന് തറക്കല്ലിടൽ ഇന്നലെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയൻ നിർവഹിച്ചപ്പോൾ നീണ്ട 4 വർഷത്തെ കൂട്ടായ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിൻതെ ഫലം ആണ് സഫലമായത്. 2021 ഇൽ ആണ് ആലുവ മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റി പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് തയാറാക്കാൻ പ്രമുഖ ആർക്കിടെക്ട് ടോണി ജോസഫ് നയിക്കുന്ന STAPATI യെ ഏല്പിക്കുന്നതും Cityfutures Design Collaborative എന്ന എന്റെ അർബൻ ഡിസൈൻ സ്ഥാപനം ഈ പ്രോജെക്ടിൽ പങ്കാളി ആകുന്നതും. നീണ്ട പത്തു വർഷമായി മുടങ്ങി കിടന്ന പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് തയാറാക്കാൻ ഒരു വലിയ പഠനം തന്നെ നടത്തി. അർബൻ ഡിസൈൻ പെർസ്പെക്റ്റീവ് ലൂടെ ആലുവ നഗരത്തെ കാണുകയും, ഈ നാടിന്റെ ചരിത്രം പഠിക്കുകയും, തുടർന്ന് പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ അവലോകനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇതിനിടയിൽ ആണ് 28 July 2023 ഇന് നാടിനെ നടുക്കിയ ചാന്ദിനി എന്ന ബാലികയുടെ തിരോധാനവും, തുടർന്ന് ആലുവ മാർക്കറ്റ് പ്രദേശത്തു നിന്ന് ദാരുണമായി ആക്രമിയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട കുട്ടിയുടെ മൃതശരീരം കണ്ടു കിട്ടുകയും ചെയ്തത്. ആ വേദന ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രോജക്ടിന് പുതിയ ഊർജം നൽകി.
ആലുവയുടെ വികസനം അടുത്ത 30 വർഷത്തേക്ക് മുന്നിൽ കണ്ടു കൊണ്ടാണ് പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് തയാറാക്കിയത്. വെള്ളപ്പൊക്ക സാധ്യത പഠനങ്ങൾ, മാർക്കറ്റ് ആക്ടിവിറ്റി പഠനങ്ങൾ, ട്രാഫിക് മാപ്പിംഗ്, ബിൽഡിംഗ് മാപ്പിംഗ്, ഡിജിറ്റൽ സർവ്വേ, ഷോപ് സർവ്വേ, യൂസർ സർവ്വേ, തുടങ്ങി ഒരു വലിയ പഠനം ഇതിനു പിന്നിൽ നടന്നു. രാജഗിരി സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് മാനേജ്‌മന്റ് പഠനത്തിൽ പങ്കാളി ആയി. ഈ പഠനങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാം വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ആണ് ആലുവയിൽ ഒരു സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഓഫ് ദി ആര്ട്ട് മോഡേൺ മാർക്കറ്റ് സമുച്ചയവും, വാട്ടർഫ്രണ്ട് കൊമേർഷ്യൽ സ്പേസും നിർമിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള അർബൻ ഡിസൈൻ മാസ്റ്റർപ്ലാൻ തയാറാക്കുന്നത്. പുലർച്ചെ നടക്കുന്ന മൊത്ത കച്ചവടം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വിജനമാകുന്ന മാർക്കറ്റ് പ്രദേശത്തെ 24 മണിക്കൂറും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പബ്ലിക് സ്പേസ് ആയി മാറ്റുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു ലക്‌ഷ്യം.
എല്ലാ വലിയ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളും, പദ്ധതികളും, പ്രോജെക്റ്റുകളം അവ നടപ്പായില്ലെങ്കിൽ വെള്ളത്തിൽ വരച്ച വര മാത്രമാണ്. മുൻപ് ഗവണ്മെന്റ് പ്രൊജെക്ടുകളിൽ വർക്ക് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള പരിചയം വെച്ച് ഞങ്ങൾ തയാറാക്കിയ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് പ്രവർത്തികമാക്കുക ഒരു വലിയ കടമ്പയാണ്. അവിടെയാണ് ആലുവ എന്നെ അതിശയപ്പെടുത്തിയത്!
ആലുവ ഭരിക്കുന്നത് ശ്രീ ജോൺഏട്ടൻ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് ആണ്. ഇവിടുത്തെ MLA ശ്രീ Anwar Sadath കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവാണ്. സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഭരിക്കുന്നത് കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാർട്ടി ആണ്. രാജ്യം ഭരിക്കുന്നത് ബിജെപിയും. ആലുവയിൽ ഈ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് നടപ്പാകാൻ ഉള്ള സാധ്യത ഇതിൽ നിന്ന് തന്നെ ഊഹിക്കാമല്ലോ. എന്നാൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിനതീതമായി വികസനം മുന്നിൽ കണ്ടു കൊണ്ട് ഒരു ജനതയും അവിടെത്തെ മൂന്നു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടികളും ഒന്നായി വന്നത് ഇന്റെ ഫലം ആണ് ഈ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ്.
ഈ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് തയാറാക്കാൻ ആദ്യം മുതൽ പിന്നാലെ നിന്നവർ ആണ് ആലുവ Municipal Chairman ശ്രീ ജോൺഏട്ടനും, Adv Jebi Mather എംപിയും, ശ്രീ Anwar SadathMLA യും. അവരുടെ തുടർച്ചയായ സഹകരണം ഒരു നല്ല പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ സഹായിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ പദ്ധതിക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ ഫണ്ട് മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഇല്ല. അവിടെയാണ് മിനിസ്റ്റർ ശ്രീ Saji Cherian ഇന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ഫിഷറീസ് വകുപ്പിന് പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും തുടർന്ന് ഷെയ്ഖ് പരീദ് IAS, MD ആയിരിക്കുന്ന KSCADC ഈ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നതും. ഇവരുടെ അകമഴിഞ്ഞ ഇടപെടലുകൾ ഈ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ട് പോകാൻ സഹായകമായി. തുടർന്ന് ചില മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്തുകയും കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്മെന്റ് പുതിയതായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച PMMSY (പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മത്സ്യ സംപാദ യോജന) പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപെടുത്താൻ ഡൽഹിയിലേക്ക് അയക്കുന്നതും. ഒരു നല്ല അർബൻ ഡിസൈൻ സ്റ്റഡിയും, ഡിസൈൻ പ്രൊപ്പോസലും സമർപ്പിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചതിനാൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ തന്നെ ഈ പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി നടപ്പാക്കുന്ന ആദ്യ സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഓഫ് ദി ആര്ട്ട് മാർക്കറ്റ് ആയി ആലുവ മാറുകയാണ്. ഇതിനു മുൻകൈ എടുത്തത് കേന്ദ്ര ഫിഷറീസ് സഹമന്ത്രി ആയ ബിജെപി നേതാവ് ശ്രീ ജോർജ് കുരിയൻ ആണ്. 60 :40 അനുപാതത്തിൽ 50 കോടി ഫണ്ട് കേന്ദ്ര- കേരള സർക്കാരുകൾ വഹിക്കും. പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കാൻ ഊരാളുങ്കൽ സൊസൈറ്റിയിലൂടെ ഒരു നല്ല കോൺട്രാക്ടിങ് കമ്പനിയെയും ലഭിച്ചു.

മറ്റു വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ പോലെ, ഒരു ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക്‌ രാജ്യമായ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഒരു പബ്ലിക് പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് അതിന്റെ പൂർണതയിൽ നടപ്പാക്കുക എളുപ്പം അല്ല. പലപ്പോഴും തടസങ്ങൾ വരും, വിഭിന്നമായ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ വരാം, പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് നിലക്കും, വീണ്ടും തുടങ്ങും, പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് ഡിസൈൻ മാറും, സമരങ്ങളും എതിർപ്പുകളും ഉണ്ടാകും, ഫണ്ട് തടസം വരാം. എന്നാലും ഇതിനെ എല്ലാം തരണം ചെയ്തു ആ പ്രൊജക്റ്റ് മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുമ്പോൾ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് രാഷ്ട്രീയം നോക്കാതെ എല്ലാ പാർട്ടികളും അതിൽ അണി ചേരുമ്പോൾ കിട്ടുന്ന സുഖം ഒന്ന് വേറെ തന്നെ ആണ്. മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള പ്രയാണത്തിൽ എല്ലാ വിധ ആശംസകളും!
