The Silai Lab, was conceived in November 2015 and set up at the well-known historical Gurudwara of Agra, Guru Ka Taal. Not only is this Gurudwara a sprawling centre of worship with historic artefacts, ornate architecture and gardens but historical records also reveal that it was established at the site where the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur surrendered to Aurangzeb and was later martyred alo

As you know, with the grace of Almighty, our "SILAI LAB", a school for learning of stitching for women,ran for almost 5 years at Gurdwara Guru ka Tal, Agra and more than 100 ladies completed this course and were honoured with a completion Certificate by Baba Pritam Singh ji who provided us a space in the Gurdwara premises to run the same for which we are grateful to him.But due to some reasons, we had to shut it down and distributed the machines to the most eligible ladies who undertook the training and now doing their own work. But we are eager to restart the same at some appropriate place at Agra so that more ladies are trained in this field and become self dependent. If someone is interested in providing us with space, they may contact us. This training will be for a period of 6 months and is free of cost
