Magisus is a Guatemalan experimental event producer, music producer, hybrid DJ, booking agent and creator based in Lake Atitlan.

His music spectrum goes from contemporary ethnical music to downtempo, organic house, afro house, deep house, deep tech, techno & bush prog. Always with his signature latin pirate magic vibes.

Founder of Vice Versa Booking Club, Ecstatic Dance Guatemala, and Algo Fuera de lo Normal. In these ventures, he consistently crafts experiences based in ontological design and the philosophy of happitalism.

Magisus’s musical journeys are immersive experiences that transcend time & space, taking you on a dynamic flow through the high seas of musical adventure. His progressive pirate tunes awaken any gathering into a mystical realm where anything is possible.

Through the fusion of mystical rhythms, ecstatic grooves, latin beats and psychedelic waves, his music invites you to surrender to the present moment and let yourself be carried away by the magic of the musical presence.

Jacob Groening somehow manages to infuse organic, jazz, eastern, blues and soul with electronic elements. Its a well thought cocktail of various cultural influences that are blend into warm synthesized sounds combined with pulsating powerful rhythmic beats. His unique productions never sound the same and are always a refreshing surprise. Things keep shifting and fusing but still there is this gentle touch to bring some variation to the composition, and let it be sweet, subtle and driving. This new genre of music that he created is named organic dance music. His live-set and unique hybrid dj sets have been acclaimed in a variety of destinations and constantly send him on various trips abroad. His professional but playful approach to music was picked up by labels such as Bar 25, 3000 Grad, Gardens of Babylon, Cosmic Awakenings, Amselcom, Steyoyoke, Delicieuse Musique, Leveldva, and Voll Schon as well as his uprising own imprint, Kamai Music.
