The Student Jury Award goes to "When I Get Jailed", by Anastasia Vedenskaya Anastasia Vedenskaya at Jeden svět / One World Human Rights Film Festival Prague 2026!!

Student Jury Statement – One World 2026:
- "This year, we were presented with films from all corners of the world. Although each of them addressed a different issue, they all had one thing in common: injustice. And as a student jury, we could choose only one. There are many reasons why we selected this story. The most important one is the diversity of perspectives it offers. Not every citizen of Russia supports the war. And not every Russian is born with propaganda in their blood — it can take time to realise that something is wrong. This is also a story of how injustice, corruption, and the harassment of citizens have penetrated so deeply that even honouring the memory of a decent person becomes impossible. This should not be normal in any civilised society. After the screening, we sat in silence for five minutes. We found ourselves wondering whether we had just seen a fictional film, or whether these events are truly unfolding just a few hundred kilometres away from us. For us, this film most powerfully captures the problems of our society.''

Those around her enjoy her success without seeing the price and no one truly comprehends the emotional toll. The most complex challenge is her coach: the source of her discipline and confidence, yet a relationship so consuming it threatens to dismantle her independence. As Nili trains for the most important fight of her life, she must finally confront the devastating truth: her greatest opponent is not across the ring, but the person she’s become to win.

New acquisitions 2025:

CRAZY SPRING a film by Chen Shelah
The film had a World premiere at the Jerusalem Film Festival 2025

Neri Aluma, Hanan’s mother, is determined to reignite her son’s passion for life as he struggles with mental illness. Neri is a writer. Hanan, a musician, has been writing and singing since the age of 13. Through their creative work, they break down the walls of silence and concealment that separate the outside world from the storm within their home. Art allows them to engage in dialogue and create meaning and beauty within the chaos the entire family endures. Neri’s prose and Hanan’s music guide the film, giving voice to the pain of a family’s long struggle with mental illness.
