Inertia, a study
Last year, before I started to work on my solo, I explored different concept related to physics and symbols.
As you may all know, part of the process is perceived has procrastination but experienced as inertia.
We must pause sometimes to reflect and observe and sometimes start over or push further.
The process can be a temperamental, the will to finish close to zero, and that’s why we will step back and look like doing nothing when inside the vision is growing.
The absence of movement - or what seems like it may appear has a negative impact but it always depends on what you expect.
I always find relief in physics, laws and formula are way easier to rationalize than people. Don’t tell them I said that.

As for now, I am pushing further the idea and expended it to new dimensions, that I will share mid march~
And beside I wanted to remind my creative friends about inertia (procrastination) and standing still is an option too.
This shall pass…

Night cocktail,
After many sleepless nights, you start to see shapes decomposing, eventually new ones and even their shadows.
It’s the hollow of a movement that never happened, light memories of absence, sometimes very uncertain but you wish you can see them again.
The nostalgia slowly becomes a quest where you randomly sketch them until it itches enough that you can cut the shape into an old piece of wood and try to see if it will appear again.
Painting is a bit of a gamble sometimes. You have a theory that none of the 4 walls of your studio will disagree. Between procrastination and delusion you push the boundaries of your own sanity to see if you can top your vision and make it a concrete work.
Illusion remains intact.

Threshold corner
Every morning, as the sun rises, there is a shadow appearing on my wall. I never was a morning person, but everyday, after looking at outside and checking my light and colors, I look for it, what tints, hues and other changes. Or even if I am on time.
I could never tell the story of this shadow. So I tell you the story of what can happen in the morning, sometimes.

Harvest moon
Denim fabric came to me as a natural playground. Intentionally created for hard working labor and resilience.
it became a second skin in the process. Carrying the threads of durability and strength, it gave me a new approach in the camouflage of painting. The closer I get to nature, I reflect on human accessories that made us blend in society.
Denim is one of them.
In the current context, it reflects my journey, completing the same narrative of
transformation, migration, and adaptation.
As a more personal identity insight, i became the artist i needed to be for the environment we live through.

Time is on my side, another work from my solo ´light Ripples’
After light, time is my second material that I find very hard to harvest and keep.
The moment you realize how precious it is, it’s already gone. The process makes you forget of any limit and rationality attached to any logic, if there is any.
As days go by and repeat in the same framework, you get used to schedules and eventually use time as a purpose instead of an endpoint.
We can somehow be architect on some aspects of our lives.
Luckily, in my case, time is on my side, still and maybe tomorrow too.

Inner Dawn
Every day the sun rises and dawns, often without notice. And every day, you shed a layer of an old belief to make room for a new one. Sometimes, it is harder to let go of the person you used to be than the people you used to love.
Inevitably, you must face your own dawn to arrive where you belong.
I set aside my usual stretched, tight lines to embody this process. A circle doesn’t have to be “full” to convey movement; some shapes are a universal vocabulary that requires no explanation. Our eyes are organically trained to find balance, even in the absence of closure.

As my solo exhibition closed last week, I’m finally finding the time to share the remaining works from the collection. This piece is from Spring ’25—the beginning of the research beyond nature that eventually led to ‘Light Ripples’.

I’m happy to share my collaboration with ILLULIAN, currently presenting at Maison & Objet in Paris.

The collection, Quantum Dance, is inspired by how time and light shape our perception. The featured piece, Supernova, reflects on the shifting paths of change and the beauty of the journey.

I am currently here in Tel Aviv, but if you are in Paris, I invite you to stop by the stand to experience the collection in person.

Light escape,double exit🌀Modular work.
in Chaos you find order, and vice versa.
working around classic shapes such as square and circle, i wanted to play with both. Create a square made of circles, as a portal.
The idea of escape with different options came up. so I created two pieces, the two shapes are identical and invert to create a negative space that would be part of the installation of the painting.
I wanted to create other illusion inside, so i create a color palette from yellow to indigo blue I’m referring to light and different study about climate.
the outlines makes your eyes tingle and question colors and dimension, hopefully a break from usual landscape.
Circles create a labyrinth, even on edges, has entry and exit.
By changing position of the two shapes, you have different options of journey, creating a square, a tunnel, or any shape you wish to see according to hard edge borders or curved ones.
I hope this work will question your perception of reality and open you to new perspective, real or not.

this work is made of reclaimed materials, found wood and MDF, pigments, acrylic, felt pen, spray paint.
It’s a painting, it’s a sculpture, it’s what you remember when away.

Shape research. Before any painting, I start by drawing, finding the right balance between shapes and movement.
The sketch part allows me to compose and see in monochrome if it can work. Then I need to think how to make it, Some mind carpentry and find materials to realize it.
The great thing about odd shaped canvas is that every time you have this impression of starting something new, that eventually it will push further the concept of Painting.
Until the next one.

My work is based on various studies about colors perceptions.

Lately, I used painting, installation, street art, and sculpture.

Each media allowed me to establish new relations with colors, space an people.

I want to create new values for each of them and also establish new relations and pursuit new theories about colors.
