Start with the customer, not the product. When a developer publicly insulted Steve Jobs and told him he didn’t know what he was talking about, Jobs didn’t lose his temper. He took a sip of water, owned his blind spots, and dropped a masterclass on product development. The lesson is simple: You cannot start with a cool piece of technology and then try to figure out who to sell it to. That is backwards. You have to start with the customer experience and work backwards to the technology. If you are struggling to make sales right now, it’s likely because you fell in love with your own idea instead of falling in love with your customer’s problem. You built a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist. Stop trying to force the market to buy your “awesome” tech. Find out what the customer actually wants, and go build that. 🧱 Are you building for the product or the customer?
