Which game is more addictive, Clash of Clans or Clash Royale?

Clash of Clans has THREE TIMES more monthly active users than Clash Royale.

I just looked at the monthly active users on apprival.io for both games and you can see in the chart below that 3.5% of Android users played Clash of Clans (orange) last month while 1.2% played Clash Royale (green).

To put it in context, Blue line shows Candy Crush reach, which is double of Clash Royal but nowhere near Clash of Clans.

So Clash of Clans wins by any metric.

Professional apps such as LinkedIn have heavier usage during the week (peaking on Monday morning). On the other hand, games and entertainment apps are more used on evening and weekends.

As you can see, between 7pm and 10pm is when people play those specific games the most.
